I got perfectly acceptable results with a screen of white card and my sony handycam using tape cassettes alongside the Eumig projector. Played it back on my big Panasonic telly and it was spot on.

Very well done. You showed the machines in actual use. Also gave alot of good info about the process. Thanks.

Wonderful tutorial, Mr. Jamieson. I wonder if you know a projector Weimar 3, and can speak of its quality and so on? I'm new to Super8 film but in love with this medium and excited to learn new techniques and so on. Warm thanks!

Could a telecine box be used to capture from a digital projector onto a film camera?

How do I get my projector so close to the multiplexer and still get focus? I have a converted Elmo 16CL with a 50mm lens and it won't focus closer than about 2.5 feet. Thanks for your help.

I have the same problem with a 22mm lens on a Kodak projector. I was reading some online cine box instructions and it said required lens is 80mm or 114mm

I have a converted elmo also and had the same problem-I pulled the lens out a bit, out of where it comfortably sits and then hand focused the lens itself. I was able to focus then-hope it works for you. Best, JDC

this only works on silent films not sound, as sound films need the right speed to redo the sound.
