My mum used to always swear by tee tree products when headlice would break out at school. It was always a lot cheaper than specifically branded headlice products and much more natural! (there's a bunch of articles online about the benefits for it too!)

Fellow Australian here. I believe oranges are still oranges, they just consider a mandarine to be a type of orange whereas we treat it as an entirely different fruit here.

Going through this 2019 vlogmas to feel better in the craziness of 2020
My older brother (He's 28 and I'm 21) has his first baby on the way (and my first real baby relative other than my little brother and cousin, which is about 18 years ago) and as much as I am excited for him to have a baby and to meet it when it's incredibly tiny, I'm much more excited for years 1+ and especially for Delilahs age when she (we don't know yet, but my older brother is insisting that it will be a girl haha, which would be lovely for me as the only girl in my entire family bar my mother) is starting to understand what's going on, have conversations, go on walks. I'm really excited for getting to be a big part of her life and help her and have fun with her. I'm also really oddly excited (I think because she's not my own kid) for the day when I look back and go I remember when you were thiiiiis big at their graduation or their wedding etc etc. So watching your vlogs is a) Really nice and helpful to understand a young child and b) Rather good for thinking about presents to get her haha

I know it’s silly but seeing you look through stories (mine included! 😶) of us watching your vlogs and seeing how it brings you joy makes me so happy - I just love this little community sometimes
I am nearing 30, and I have some hormonal acne every month (pretty easy to guess when, haha). I have started using The Ordinary, for about a month now, and while it doesn't stop the big zits from appearing, it considerably helps clear the rest and stops the smaller ones from appearing altogether. And they heal so fast, too! I use the Niacinamide 10%+Zinc 1% every morning, and when the hormonal acne kicks in, every evening, too. And when my face needs it (I'd say twice a month) I do the AHA 30% peeling solution. I wanted salicylic acid as well for the bigger painful spots, but they were out of stock.
I also use Evolve miracle oil in the evening. I helps heal the skin. I've been using it for a few years now and absolutely love it.

I’ve always found over the counter headlice products ineffective. We swear by teatree oil & then frazzle them with the hair straighteners!

I'm usually a "silent viewer" but just had to comment to tell you that I've recently started using the ordinary products and my acne scarring and texture has evened out so much! and the products are so cheap! I swear it's like witchcraft.

The Ordinary also saved my skin, really helped to clear up my acne. If you go onto their website you can message them with you skin type/issue and they will respond with a recommended routine. It's a lot of products usually but I chose 1/2 to start with and added any as I needed/wanted.

I have really sensitive skin, and I use the ordinary natural moisturising factors + ha, niacinimide serum and salicylic acid at night, they're really gentle and help keep spots at bay. Aside from that, I used to get a lot of spots around my chin, cheeks and mouth that started appearing in my early 20s and after giving up dairy they all disappeared. I do still very very occasionally eat dairy, and every time spots appear a day or two later. Perhaps worth thinking about whether anything you eat might cause flare ups? Dairy is a common cause!
Also worth noting not all of the ordinarys products are spot friendly, some have ingredients it's recommended to avoid if you are prone to flare ups, so it's good to check before buying
I think it’s the hormones in dairy products that actually affect the skin. It’s not so much a dietary issue like if you were to eat a burger or greasy food. It’s mostly a hormonal issue as to why we get acne!! But it makes sense I suppose. Cows milk is made for calf’s like human milk is made for babies so we’re all intolerant to an extent!
La Roche post effaclar duo sorted my adult acne ... coupled with Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser followed by Pixie glow Tonic x
Just an idea, maybe you could film a 'come zero waste shopping' video for your other channel? It might give other people ideas of what kind of stuff they can get, and also a Tunbridge Wells guide? I've been a couple of times before and haven't seen half the shops you go to..maybe I was in the wrong area or something. I use 4 products from The Ordinary, they'r great - I'd just say, use one at a time for a few weeks before adding the next product to your routine. x

I found Inkey List products so much better than The Ordinary, same kinda pricing through.
You should definitely check out a website called cosdna! It basically tells you which ingredients in a product are good/ bad for acne, I’ve avoided anything with an bad acne rating and touch wood my skin hasn’t been half as bad as it normally is!
I'm not feeling very Christmassy either, I broke a tooth and can't get a dentist appointment until Tuesday and someone reversed into my car while I was at work and didn't leave a note 😒

This comment is clearly a wind up because if you watch the vlogs you’ll know how house proud I am and know this comment would annoy me. Feel free to come round to tidy if it’s bothering you so much, it’s driving me nuts too and it’s been especially bad as we’ve been doing work around the house and with Delilah’s being ill and barely finding the time to edit these vlogs, tidying had to take a back seat.
