The song is about the bloodfiend's (vampires) thirst for blood that their father doesn't allow to drink from humans. He wished to coexist, and it ended up hurting his children. The one singing is not Don Quixote, that is the princess Dulcinea.
The person singing is Don’s VA, but the song itself is taking the perspective of Dulencia princess of the parade being forced to take the center stage of the parade as the princess
Yeah, spot on with the themes of the song. this is the theme of the Lamancha land parade, where the princess of the parade host a giant carnival that goes around one of the 3 sections of the lamanchaland dancing and singing and spreading joy... except for the people in it. The problem is... everything get's more dificult than that. To begin with, again, you wrong about the singer sadly, that's not don quixote, but rather the singer is Dulcinea, the princess of the parade. There used to be a prince, but he's not here anymore. Her and all the members of the parade are not human however. they are vampires. And while they are in a way forced to try to be happy like you described, what they really want is to escape lamanchaland... to sluaghter and drink the blood of humans. Their current existence is sufering, but they are also a danger, and their current situation is a punishment, but it didn't start as this. it's sadly the result of a porly thought dream of coexistence. As for don quixote... it's a lot more dificult than this. you actually already listned to their theme song. as for how they are as a person... that's to much of a spoiler to speak about here.
A request: Chihiro Onitsuka "This silence is mine" A credits song that fits perfectly for the game it was made for, Drakengard 3. Chiriro Onitsuka was about to undergo throat surgery, when she recorded this song. This adds just the perfect touch to this song.
I like that even for listener without story context, you can grasp most of the story from song itself, but if setting specific word "bloodfiend" was exchanged for word "vampire", it'd be even more obvious :D Like the lines about Father being gone, reference to 200 years, eternity and wanting to die, hunger(tasty morsels), physical withering(nails and cracks in faces) really play up the whole "well shit this carnival full of blood thirsty vampires wants to devour you all" aspect of it :D Its the key that changes song's third part from "anthem of lost souls stuck in eternal carnival" to "and these last souls are really really eager to have new visitors to arrive"
Canto 7 Spoilers!!!!! The first bloodfiend named Don Quixote (who is not the same as the girl) had the wish that humans and bloodfiends could live together in peace. To do so he found something that would work as a substitute for human blood and then build this theme park so that humans and bloodfiends may have fun together. He ordered all his descendants to party in this carnival and to rely on the "hemobars" that are supposed to replace blood. Unfortunately these bars didn't quite do it, while it allows them to live it still makes them feel as we would feel if we stopped drinking and also never had fun again. Bloodfiends are bound by a strict hierarchy and are almost unable to ignore orders for higher bloodfiends. Like family but way more extreme. Don Quixote then left for a 200 year journey and La Manchaland was effectively closed :)
If I can recommend another song from Limbus Company, I'd give Canto VII Boss Battle 4 a listen. There's lots of layers to the track I think you'll find interesting to break down.
I have a album to recommend they are covers but they just hit for me and i want to spread this guys work its name is the Koan of Jericho - A blue archive tribute album. I dont think these will fit the videos that u do but i want to spread this amazing work for people to enjoy . Its quite long so if u dont want to listen whole then i recommend his dolce biblioteca cover, aoharu cover, someday sometime cover and for the last recommendation it is his Re:aoharu (reimagined) music video. i hope u dont find this offensive or some different word (cant remember any different one) because of me advertising it. If u do find it offensive that i will take this comment down and if u dont then i'm happy sharing music for people to enjoy. ( also my english may not be the best so dont mind some of the errors i dont know if there any but there probably are some)
This song its also not her boss theme, this song plays just before the fight, so technically my comment shouldn't have been part of the video However... Hi mom! I'm in a catharsis video!
I don't know how you did it... but you are at the same time completely correct AND very wrong at the same time, even with concepts outside the song itself XD in any case, Don Quixote is the name of 2 characters, a father and a daughter (not blood related... well, blood realated but vampire stile) and this song is about Don Quixote father and sung by Don Quixote daughter's VA (the real singer is... well, everyone at the Eternal Carnival) Don Quixote father basically wanted to supress the worst aspects of vampirism for the sake of coexistance, he dreamt a dream of a future shared with humans and he wanted to share that dream with his family... sadly vampirism strips one of purpose, leaving only desire, and unless true meaning is found in one's life, that desire can only be quenched by the extacy of blood... and while Don Quixote father saw a blessing, his family saw a curse, but because he was the patron of the entire family, nobody could object (it was part of their nature to obey, is not that he coerced everyone to do his bidding by force)... the eternal carnival sings a song of madness induced by 200 years of abstinence and a bloodfeast that followed the drought
I love when the key change happens and you're still just like "yeah, coming to expect this from this game"
At some point, you just embrace the strange
Fun fact, this song was sung by Kim Yea-lim (Don Quixote's VA)
Not sure if it's a spoiler or not
@@ekaterinaegorova492 nope.
Yeah, love to think Don reluctantly sang this before going on the adventure. Sadly it was Dulencia that sings this.

The VA for Don is singing this song. I think it's a recording at the beginning, but Dulcinea starts singing the darker part about going insane.
Truly an upbeat song 🎶As it tears (my nails ate falling off) As it cracks(my hands.....my face) Keep smiling with those lips🎶
The person singing is Don’s VA, but the song itself is taking the perspective of Dulencia princess of the parade being forced to take the center stage of the parade as the princess
Actually if it was in the mirror world, he kinda spot on
I'm conceiving.
An idea most ingenious, right? RIGHT?
But who is…
Yes... Humans like this thing called-
CALL THE RABBITS NO W
Whose is it this time?
Imagine being forced to listen the song of your sibling which you hate for 200 years straight
That must be the reason why goatsetti gone insane
@carmen_ahh-men "I AM THE PRINCE OF THE PARADE"
Yeah pretty much

Yeah, the whole Canto makes me think of the lack of choice.

It's peak...
