I'm one of the original STALKERs. Gave the original a go on release and was hooked. Rushed out to buy Clear Sky (physical media back then!) and spent hour upon hour trying workarounds to actually get the broken game it was to work. It was infuriating but, you know what? It was more STALKER and that was all that mattered. And when we get STALKER 2 it will still be all that matters.
dont forget their studio also caught fire lmao. im going into stalker 2 FULLY expecting the game to have a rough launch and honestly if there is one game studio i feel like disserves a bit a lee way its GSC they have had to go through a lot. so if the game launches rough thats fine so long as they continue to work and fix the game after launch. i know a lot of people wont see it the way that i see it but thats just my take on everything
All it needs, is to feel familiar. Needs to feel like the Zone. You can mod other games to match the vibe, but it never quite captures it. The Zone is its own beast... And we've been running around those old Zone maps for a long time...
1:04 while I like co op I can see why they said this But lonely is part of a stalker There are times when you are in a group of stalkers But that doesn't count Considering some of these factions like to travel on their own, remember duty in the dead valley? Strelok was mostly on his own in Soc Also AIs don't count as real players
Mods only ruin a game if you install Unrealistic mods. I only install mods that enhance the experience, such as better AI, additional bug fixes, better animations, more realistic sounds, slower time scale mods, darker nights if necessary and better weather and graphics. Sometimes I will add a mod that changes the look of a character or adds additional outfits. These are my ground rules, I don't mess with anything beyond that.
Huh? People playing a game together is bad? I have no idea how you came to that conclusion, Co-op with friends is fun and makes even the worst made games fun, Now big corps rationing the multiplayer part, spliting the game with dlc, locking features behind paywalls, allowing people to pay for items, boosts etc, that's the kind of garbage that's ruining gaming, but expect nothing less from corporations today, Activision are normally the main boundry pushers, even just recently they add a skin that gives party boosts, but everyone in your party needs to have the 20$ skin for it to work, I don't think most people realise how bad, scummy, predatory that is.
@@patricks9401 Multiplayer certainly has worsened gaming for the people who like singleplayer games more. Most of the games back in the days were released with sp campaign, now days this isn't the case anymore. Moreover, coop games are usually live service games, and i certainly don't want that included in STALKER.
Personally all I hope for is a solid single player experience. I couldn't give less of a crap about any multiplayer stuff because that's not what STALKER is about. The multiplayer should very much be treated like how MGSV seperates MGO and the Campaign as 2 distinctly seperate entities from eachother. You'll get what I mean if you've ever played MGSV and MGO.
I hope the A-life world simulation is more improved. I dont care for multiplayer in any form. And they do conflict...would take more development resources to allow for coop. Everybody's world would have to be synced with the a-life stuff on the server. .if they did implement a-life at all its already going to be cpu heavy ..
@@CarlWheatley-wi2cl yea they have to code it in...and the lead programmer went and fought in the war...but he was the same guy who made the previous A-life code..it's concerning...they are still promoting A-life 2.0 on their website though. Us stalker fans know what it is and we will notice if it's absent from the game.
@@williamrice71 I'm just hoping they can do something with it that isn't just rote spawning and pathing. A-Life was such a weird combination of code that somehow came together to produce something that has never really been matched in terms of immersion. The jank became part of its charm instead of a distraction lol. I don't know if they can produce lightning in a bottle a second time. I doubt it.
@@CarlWheatley-wi2cl Exactly..in stalker NPCs including mutants were actual objects being accounted for in memory....even when you weren't present and in a different load zone/level they existed...their location and condition was being simulated in offline mode...sure it was a simple simulation but it was enough to provide emergent game play opportunities and immersion for the player. Even if they haven't expanded on it much I hope it is at least on par with previous A-life. This is a deal breaker
I think what the devs were thinking about co-op is how they originally made the first 3 games You did team up with groups from other factions but it was only temporary, and even then they had the chance of dying and leaving you to fend for yourself in the mission. I had that in Clear Sky, trying to clear out the Military presence in the Army Warehouses for Freedom to use. I was forced to fight Spetsnaz alone because my npc squad died even if I tried to reload saves. And in the end it did give me a sense of victory when I finally wiped the place of them. It feels more rewarding when you do it all by yourself, you have that sense of pride in completion. Sometimes it just feels more rewarding when the challenge is more hard on you and that is more likely when you are alone instead of with friends that won't die so easily, giving you an advantage for the challenge to be easier. It doesn't have the same kick. Because if STALKER 2 or the previous games was gonna be that easy and feel so simple, I don't think I would still be playing it today.
Don't forget we played first because of the story but fell in love with how those mods could present the main character, The Zone. I think that's the parts they should lean on, it would give it a darks souls esque focus on setting that I think is already there. But they're also probably well past the concepts and planning stage so whatever they have is already baked in.
Great analysis of the series. I'm playing through the first three games in honor of the sequel coming out this September. In my experience, what I would like to see most is a survival level difficulty where damage is much more effective but I'm excited for it to come out.
Coop would suck a lot of it's charm out tbh. Even if you can play SP the game would still have to be build around the coop version and suck out resources A modded in custom coop sounds more sound of mind.
@@bluetherobot the problem is that it's extremely difficult to make that if they don't offer any systems within their mod support to allow it. Sort of why we don't have coop on stalker anomaly/gamma.
Remind me a single UE5 game where moding has became a staple of it. Yeah, there are a lot of reasons why this may be a cope. I am being very skeptical on the prospect of moding stage in S2HOC. I don't believe that UE5 can support it. I have never seen UE5 supporting anything like it.
The thing is, moding shoud not be the main atraction you know? The game shoud not be afected by the moding on the aspect of what they are whanting to do, like story and atmosfere shoud not be aspects of the moding if you what to have a great experience.
@@bluetherobot yea, im kinda new to the stalker games, but i perfer the original thing, that is why i got the trilogy on my xbox. I knew the franchise and lore, but never played.
literally the best thing to ever happen to the devs is the popularization of stalker gamma. those guys who made anomaly and then the others who made gamma are LITERALLY CARRYING this franchise and i know sooo many people who picked up stalker for the first time because of these mods, people who otherwise would've never heard about this game. these guys deserve to get the deluxe copy of the game for free and it still wouldnt be a full thank you.

I want to say thank you for telling so many people about our game, I hope you all enjoy our new masterpiece (or not a masterpiece xd), anyways thank you so much. Love your videos, keep it up!
the simple fact that modding will be supported and the game will have some sort of multiplayer infrastructure will make co op so much closer to possible if they don't release it on their own. really stoked.
@@bluetherobot I feel like it will make it way better than past co op mods. I am sad that the multiplayer isn't co op oriented. I don't really care about pvp unless it's in the zone environment.
What I personally would like would be that when you finish the story mode you unlock the multiplayer both co op and pvp but also an anomaly mode where you could play with any faction

GSC claims they will allow mod support. But they also are selling skins for outfits. What happens when someone on Moddb makes a outfit skin that's similar to what GSC is selling via pre-orders?. I bet GSC wont support modding once the mods conflict with their monetization.
Honestly, when i saw your last video about STALKER 2, i was like finally somebody that is excited for the game and not shit on the game completely like everyone else. we all know the circumstances in which the game is being developped we dont expect a flawless product, but the story is what makes STALKER, and a continuation of that is exciting, all the original games had flaws and bugs but we still enjoyed them because of the story. And in my experiance with the STALKER modding community, there is nothing imposible, mods ranging from bugfixes, intirely new stories or just crazy shit that has nothing to do with stalker, there is something for everyone, and if STALKER 2 is as easy to mod as like lets say Anomaly, the game will not die for 20 more years.
I have some fear about stalker2: 1. It can be mission type fps like CoD with bunch of cutscenes 2. It can be not so open world as Call of Pripyat (if it have more open world then anomaly - this will be great) 3. They gonna delay release even more or give us not complete game again
I only played stalker for mods, especially the War mod, just loved the concept of multiple factions at war in middle of scary mutants. I hope there will be a war mod for Stalker 2
Dont rely on rumors since everyone can make one, if these rumors are based on leaked aka hacked files than its fake info, i had myself downloaded those files and there is nothing to see there, Chunks of testing material like guns, ballistic, unfinished buildings etc..there was no full alpha version of game or something
I'm a STALKER player, have the original STAEM releases, absolutely love playing the mods, have checked ModDB at least twice a week for the latest mods/files (currently enjoying Vector of Alian- Oblivion Lost), have played dozens, both XR and OGSR engines. I must say I never enjoyed the mods with all the spiders/critters running amok. Can't wait for (but I will) STALKER 2.

Even having a friend to talk to alongside me as I play Stalker is enough to absolutely destroy all tension or feeling of immersion, so if the majority of game designers for Stalker 2 are like me then it makes sense why they would not want to have coop features. If there were enough people who want coop anyways then sure, I wouldn't mind it existing at all, but since there obviously aren't then the devs definitely shouldn't need to bother with implementing coop, especially when there is enough work on the plate already for them. Just look at games like Metro and different kinds of immersive sims, they categorically avoid coop for a reason, and not enough people complain about the lack of it for that to be even a known problem with those games, so since Stalker 2 aims at that same audience it again makes sense not to have any coop IMO. And again I don't personally have any problem with the option potentially existing, if we lived in a world were game companies have infinite budget and time to develop.
I think it would be better than 90% Triple A Titles nowadays .We all know that there are going to be bugs. But people are looking for a game like Stalker with a new concept. But This ERA is different that 2007-2010 Specifically these past years games like Stalker are popping out they are in large demand! This will be the Game to Bring STALKER FRANCHISE the ATTENTION AND LOVE IT DESERVES without any big title releasing this year.I am sure People will give it a Try! This Studio is not ubisoft!! It is 100% better For such a little studio this is such a big step forward and i hope it will go as planned (A STALKER FAN)
yea its a big red flag for me when anything other than cosmetics is locked behind a paywall, lets hope its just a blunder on their part and not an indicator of what is to come.
the multiplayer has to be an extraction mode, the zone is similar to Hunt Showdown and it will be epic long term way to play the game after doing the campaign 1 or 2 times.
My favorite mods from my favorite mod creator Jekan.(standalone mods too) OGSR Legacy(pretty much a ShoC remake with cut content and extra player made stuff), Return to the zone(3 main story's and a story extraction mode), Goldensphere OGSR(A story mod heavily based on the book) And those made by team vivent(2nd favorite) incubator and it's sequel dreamcatcher
The first mod that I will insert in the game will be to relieve the unpleasant effect to the screen of the wounds on his own character: the blood thick around the screen as you're hit must be or made it a bit transparent, restricted, or changed: I do not like it at all -.- Of course, I will take the game the same day they come out, and I can't wait that day will come ^^
The MP mode should be an extraction event each player is a player from each faction and spawns at faction base then you move out into the centre with the loot pickups getting better as you move in at first your fighting npcs then in the centre the best loot and the pvp aspect then you get back out to base to extract - if it’s not that then it better had be one day
I don't understand devs or gamers for that matter always have to put multiplayer in a traditionally single player game. It always takes away from the experience, an emotion of a single player game.
I would also prefer it singleplayer as the main experience, but possibly a mod later on. Also, there couldve been a mode, where it was unlocked, after completing the game solo first.
I don't know who's upset about mods. But I think the reason the zone is so polarizing is because everyone has a different idea of what it is. Thats where mods come into play. You can can mod it to whatever you think the zone is. And everyone has a completely unique opinion of the zone because of that. Which I think is awesome. I hope to God mod support comes to console for a STALKER 2.
glad modding will be out on day 1, I don't expect much from these devs after what they did to cossacks 3. they will probably tell an overwrought, hamfisted story, invalidate and trounce all the pre-existing world building and bumble around with casualization of mechanics and features. at least the modders can start fixing their mistakes asap
the new STALKER 2 is made on Unreal Engine soon the modders goin to put co-op on then, and i wainting to play stalker 2 but i must expect how mod community will put this game like a more realistic sistems t play and sandbox modes (sorry for my bad english haha)
im pretty sure stalker anomaly saved stalker if im not wrong they closed their doors and released tools to the community to mod ity and thats how anomaly was made (again i could be wrong) so if thats the case of course they are gonna take some ideas from anomaly but it wont be anomaly
anomaly and all the other free plays mods are based off the X-RAY engine source code leaked without GSC's consent also one of GSC community managers side this when asked about stalker mods quote : in everyway we support and enjoy mods that require the original game for installation. stand alone mods - not so much.
anomaly is the closest thing to what stalker game should be imo, the only thing that always bothers me about anomaly is basically 0 story or interesting unique quests (the pseudo-story isnt satisfying enough) but as a sandbox its possibly the peak of how far can mods go
People who expect S2 to be like Anomaly or Gamma, don't. It will be nothing like and I am glad for it. Anomaly is just a modding basis for a fun sandbox and Gamma is just moded vomit at this point, for people that want stalker to be like COD or Tarkov ad their cringe. All I hope for S2 modding is to allow us Coop so we could enjoy the game with friends or even a friend, everything else is just a bonus.
They should make the coop so we can kill each other if we’d likes and be part of different factions in a separate o line mode from what the size of the map might be I’d say 4 people in coop and possible trading
about the performance i am worried but with the track record of gsc and the original trillogy it is highly likely that the game will be buggy and be hardware intensive (though not unplayable i hope lol) . Stalker shadow of chernobyl needed a beast of a pc and clear sky was just crysis 1 levels of stupidly hard to run . From what ive heard from people who played the demo they nailed the stalker atmosphere and the gameplay is fun and fluid so i am very hopeful that the game is good but only time will tell.
I think that it's a multiplatform release gives some assurance that'll it'll run well on decent PCs since the consoles are pretty much equivalent to mid-range PC hardware now. But you never know. More likely, it'll run well on the fixed platforms and have lots of issues on PC. I preordered the game over a year ago to support the devs, but if you're worried about it, just pick it up a month or so after launch when hopefully any serious performance issues are ironed out.
UE5 is intensive don't expect a 1060, 1650 or even a 2070 to run it at max settings 60 fps on 1080p unless if they put upscaling methods like dlss, FSR and frame gen and etc
Well open world Stalker multiplayer, not a fan of. Perhaps a co-op mode after completing the game solo, maybe. Also, the new Stalcraft trailer was kinda cool!
Back in 07,08 STALKER games were what you would call a hot garbage wrapped in tortilla, meaning only ATMOSPHERE is good and everything else and i mean EVERYTHING was on par with flashplayer browser games...Chernobyl was not that popular we had Fallout 3, so STALKER games lived for couple of months after the release and then died in EU ( 0 presence in US ) only audience this game ever had was in Belarus,Ukraine and Russia (which isn't a small number, but most of the games were actually pirated so it doesn't reflect on sales xD) and then METRO came out and STALKER died, like it was literally sealed with onmyōji talisman...until Anomaly this game was none existent and it became "relevant" thanks to other survival/looter shooter games like EFT,DayZ etc....all in all its impossible for STALKER 2 to be bad compared to its predecessors.
Stalker is and has never been about coop, multiplayer or mmo. Too bad if that's what people want. Plenty of other games to scratch that itch. Personally, I'm expecting more Metro than actual Stalker. No bad thing in itself, a tried and proven cross platform formula but the fact that they ARE incorporating consoles sets the expectations down for me. Quite considerably.
I'm really excited for Stalker 2 to release and even if it launches in a bad state that as long as it's enjoyable I'll consider it money well spent. I'm just concerned that a lot of Anomaly players will look at it and be all mad that it's nothing like anomaly/gamma/efp etc, when none of the original trilogy were anything like them either. I don't want stalker 2 to be some tarkov-esque tac sim shooter thing like Gamma or Efp, because that's not what stalker is to me. I'm not saying that gamma and efp and the like aren't good games or anything, I do actually quite enjoy them, but especially after playing the original trilogy they just don't feel like stalker in the same way the originals do.
@@bluetherobot I think so too, just that there's likely going to be a loud minority of players who shit on the game purely because it's not like anomaly or gamma.
Why are so many players obsessed with co-op? Is it mostly in America? Does it need to be played with friends in The Long Dark, Fallout, STALKER, Dying Light, Metro, and Death Stranding? These aren't typically the kind of games that require co-op play. Multiplayer, yes, maybe. In some cases, you just need to accept the fact that not every game should be co-op. It's important to have your own time for solitude to experience those unique feelings. Remember, in the end, you will likely die alone, unless you're ruzzian.
@@bluetherobot I understand that. I think it's more harder to make such as game with co-op with a right game balance. In 2010-2013 we were played Stalker multiplayer and it was great. the claim that co-op will ruin the experience just sounds like a cop-out. They don't know better than us, and doing co-op is a choice each individual player would be able to make. Just be honest and say that you don't have the resources or time to do it.

@@bluetherobot that's barely an argument considering that anomaly and GAMMA get millions of views and hundreds of thousands of players
"plenty of people" can hate the modding scene, sure, but what about millions of people who love it?
@@DISPL4Y not to forget that Anomaly & GAMMA don't solely represent the modding scene. There are hundreds of awesome mods out there that aren't for the standalone products -- also not to forget that MODS have historically led to QOL fixes, innovation, and sometimes new games all together.
@@bluetherobot Anomaly came up around 2018, you literally ignore previous 11 years of modding community work just to support your argument.. which is complete crap. The modding content in general was only embraced and welcomed by the general fan base
@@spellweavergeneziso I dont hate Anomaly nor the modding scene, theres just others who hate people who found out about Stalker through Anomaly, thus hate Anomaly. IDGAF how you find out about Stalker, as long as you enjoy your time in the zone. Mods or no mods.
That's mainly all we want. A good Stalker game.
dont forget their studio also caught fire lmao. im going into stalker 2 FULLY expecting the game to have a rough launch and honestly if there is one game studio i feel like disserves a bit a lee way its GSC they have had to go through a lot. so if the game launches rough thats fine so long as they continue to work and fix the game after launch. i know a lot of people wont see it the way that i see it but thats just my take on everything
Oh damn. I feel like I remember reading about when it happened too.
@@bluetherobot yeah, it’s one of the added reasons the game got delayed
All it needs, is to feel familiar. Needs to feel like the Zone.
You can mod other games to match the vibe, but it never quite captures it. The Zone is its own beast... And we've been running around those old Zone maps for a long time...
It'll hopefully be like seeing an old friend.
@@bluetherobot exactly that 🤞👌
1:04 while I like co op
I can see why they said this
But lonely is part of a stalker
There are times when you are in a group of stalkers
But that doesn't count
Considering some of these factions like to travel on their own, remember duty in the dead valley? Strelok was mostly on his own in Soc
Also AIs don't count as real players
Yeah. I feel that. I would've liked to see maybe it added as an unlock, after completing a run solo.
@@bluetherobot now that's great idea
I am honest... Coop would suck the feeling of the game out of me.
My friends are just too fucking funny and incompetent xD
Mods only ruin a game if you install Unrealistic mods. I only install mods that enhance the experience, such as better AI, additional bug fixes, better animations, more realistic sounds, slower time scale mods, darker nights if necessary and better weather and graphics. Sometimes I will add a mod that changes the look of a character or adds additional outfits. These are my ground rules, I don't mess with anything beyond that.
Immersion mods are the best.
Congrats for the 8k subs i hope u reach 10k by September
Thank you! I will try my hardest.
STALKER 2 rejecting co-op is the best thing it could do.
Online multiplayer has ruined gaming.
Greedy corporations/shareholders have ruined gaming. Definitely not online.
Mods will be there for this. Dont need it though; i prefer to have my own mods
I never knew that a Community coming together to enjoy an online mode for their favourite franchise is a bad thing, strange
Someone brought it up, like if there was a co-op, it would only be unlocked after a full playthrough.
I hope the A-life world simulation is more improved. I dont care for multiplayer in any form. And they do conflict...would take more development resources to allow for coop. Everybody's world would have to be synced with the a-life stuff on the server. .if they did implement a-life at all its already going to be cpu heavy ..
I heard the A-Life system was improved on. That already makes the game so immersive if that's the case.
A-Life is not part of the UE engine framework.
I think what the devs were thinking about co-op is how they originally made the first 3 games
You did team up with groups from other factions but it was only temporary, and even then they had the chance of dying and leaving you to fend for yourself in the mission.
I would like to have seen a co-op mode after completing a solo run. Like an unlock.
@@bluetherobot a co-op mode after solo would be the better option
Honestly I won't be surprised if the game is buggy. If anything, it's part of the charm.
As the saying goes, Anomalies, not bugs... lol
Don't forget we played first because of the story but fell in love with how those mods could present the main character, The Zone. I think that's the parts they should lean on, it would give it a darks souls esque focus on setting that I think is already there. But they're also probably well past the concepts and planning stage so whatever they have is already baked in.
A great summarization.
Great analysis of the series. I'm playing through the first three games in honor of the sequel coming out this September. In my experience, what I would like to see most is a survival level difficulty where damage is much more effective but I'm excited for it to come out.
A survival difficulty would be interesting.
So there isn't coop bc it could break the flow of the game but there is modding which allows us to break the flow of the game?
Coop would suck a lot of it's charm out tbh. Even if you can play SP the game would still have to be build around the coop version and suck out resources
A modded in custom coop sounds more sound of mind.
A co-op mod would be fine.
@@bluetherobot the problem is that it's extremely difficult to make that if they don't offer any systems within their mod support to allow it. Sort of why we don't have coop on stalker anomaly/gamma.

It really does.

Thank you so much!
The thing is, moding shoud not be the main atraction you know? The game shoud not be afected by the moding on the aspect of what they are whanting to do, like story and atmosfere shoud not be aspects of the moding if you what to have a great experience.
For sure. I'm just looking forward to the story.

literally the best thing to ever happen to the devs is the popularization of stalker gamma. those guys who made anomaly and then the others who made gamma are LITERALLY CARRYING this franchise and i know sooo many people who picked up stalker for the first time because of these mods, people who otherwise would've never heard about this game.

the simple fact that modding will be supported and the game will have some sort of multiplayer infrastructure will make co op so much closer to possible if they don't release it on their own. really stoked.

Yeah, people have waited for a long time. Still looking forward to it.
The opening your backpack things was in metro exodus which is a smillar game series to Stalker, I think some of the metro developers worked on stalker before
That is true. Some GSC devs went on to help make Metro
GSC claims they will allow mod support. But they also are selling skins for outfits. What happens when someone on Moddb makes a outfit skin that's similar to what GSC is selling via pre-orders?. I bet GSC wont support modding once the mods conflict with their monetization.
I guess we will wait and see how it plays out.
Im glad you enjoyed my last video. I'm just a regular dude who enjoys walking around in the zone.

How much? Lol
Exactly my thoughts
I think it would be better than 90% Triple A Titles nowadays .We all know that there are going to be bugs. But people are looking for a game like Stalker with a new concept.

And immersion*
I would also prefer it singleplayer as the main experience, but possibly a mod later on. Also, there couldve been a mode, where it was unlocked, after completing the game solo first.
If no coop multiplayer in IT im not buing
I don't know who's upset about mods. But I think the reason the zone is so polarizing is because everyone has a different idea of what it is. Thats where mods come into play. You can can mod it to whatever you think the zone is. And everyone has a completely unique opinion of the zone because of that. Which I think is awesome. I hope to God mod support comes to console for a STALKER 2.
That's the best part about mods. It's so customizable for everyone.
glad modding will be out on day 1, I don't expect much from these devs after what they did to cossacks 3. they will probably tell an overwrought, hamfisted story, invalidate and trounce all the pre-existing world building and bumble around with casualization of mechanics and features. at least the modders can start fixing their mistakes asap

about the performance i am worried but with the track record of gsc and the original trillogy it is highly likely that the game will be buggy and be hardware intensive (though not unplayable i hope lol) .
That's all we can be right now. Hopeful.
I think that it's a multiplatform release gives some assurance that'll it'll run well on decent PCs since the consoles are pretty much equivalent to mid-range PC hardware now. But you never know. More likely, it'll run well on the fixed platforms and have lots of issues on PC.
It really has come a long way hasn't it...
I'm more worried about S2 having a lot of "other shit" and less of the Zone.

@@bluetherobot I sure hope so XD
Stalker is and has never been about coop, multiplayer or mmo. Too bad if that's what people want. Plenty of other games to scratch that itch. Personally, I'm expecting more Metro than actual Stalker. No bad thing in itself, a tried and proven cross platform formula but the fact that they ARE incorporating consoles sets the expectations down for me. Quite considerably.
I'm just looking forward to the continued storyline
That's the thing, I think most Anomaly players understand that Stalker 2 won't be tarkov-esque or gammafied.
Not just an American thing. It's just people would like a game like Stalker, to play with friends.
@@bluetherobot I understand that. I think it's more harder to make such as game with co-op with a right game balance. In 2010-2013 we were played Stalker multiplayer and it was great. Some people already made co-op mod for The Long Dark (the most lonely played game ever) and if it good for them, so let it moding community have fun too with a STALKER.
Dying Light is a co-op game
@@bbcofmemes6982Dying light isn’t the same type of game as Stalker or the Long dark, Dying light compared to those games offers a completly different experience, atleast thats how i see it
No harm in adding coop it's your choice if U wanna play with friends or not
quest lines locked behind deluxe editions is already a skip for me.
Yeah, that feels kinda eh.
the claim that co-op will ruin the experience just sounds like a cop-out. They don't know better than us, and doing co-op is a choice each individual player would be able to make. Just be honest and say that you don't have the resources or time to do it.
That could be the case, but who really knows at this point.
@@bluetherobot All I know is that when companies tell players that they don't really want what they want, especially for an optional feature, it never ends well.
Stalker gamma 2 booois
Excited for the modding scene.
@@bluetherobot can't wait to see what they do
Will obviously enjoy a full okay through unmodded and then check out what the modding community fixes and adds in
I'm really looking forward to not playing tarkov anymore
I just downloaded SPTarkov myself.
@@bluetherobot just downloaded raid review for it.
Is it like Metro Exodus?
No, it’s kinda different
I believe some GSC devs left and worked on Metro. If I remember correctly.
Maaaaan, have you played original trilogy with a companion?
It's not the same experience when you have an ally behind your back!
Stalker IS NOT Fallout. Here you're alone, hungry and scared 🤩
I like both Stalker and Fallout. I can see how both games could have a co-op mode, only after a solo run is completed. Kind of like an unlock.
@@bluetherobot yeah. I would also like it this way
Will it ever be on ps5?
Currently a Microsoft Exclusive Release. Maybe a few months after, but no official word.
no co-op is a bad choice....I do not want pvp....I want co-op :(
Maybe in the future.
More interested in the whole 3 months timed exclusivity leak
What is that?
@@bluetherobot After Stalker 2 got actually announced there was an internal leak confirming Microsoft had a 3 month timed exclusivity window on it, now supposedly "insiders" claim that timed exclusivity window has increased due to Microsoft investing more support towards it
I love STALKER, i grew up on that shit man! But the mods have made the original game soo much better and more popular aswell. it gave it the recongnition it needed! I think the mods for STALKER 2 are gonna be fucking liiiiiiit! Imagine a GAMMA type mod pack for STALKER 2?! I hope the story will be good, and i hope it does not relases in a totaly broken state. But i think GSC will deliver! Even though the delays because of the damn war in Ukraine! I am gonna have a blast either way!
Same here! I think the mods will hopefully be incredible. Just wonder how hard it would be to mod.
Well with the mod support from the day one release on PC it hopefully won't be to hard! I know i gotta upgrade my damn PC that for sure! 😝
I feel like even my PC isn't ready.
a coop warfare mode would work for sure. I think the game will be broken as f*** (at lunch). I know how the release of the other 3 games went.
Oooh, Co-op Warfare mode would be sick!
What will happen is game will hype for 1 week. Then a controversy will break out. Thing is, the only reason game survived was community and in essence Russian community which BSG try to descriminate oh so dearly because politics. Then it will die for a while and revived with first major overhaul modpack or conversion.
I'm sure the game will stand on its own merit.
@@bluetherobot no coop, market overprice, skins announced even before release. Is that your good game combo or smth?
And again, yall know about the game only because people preserved it.
Theres only one problem i have and thats that there wont be any russian language
I'm sure it can be an option
3:46 Cyberpunk 2? What kinda CDPR insider alpha tester are you? lmao
Maybe. Maybe not. It's classified.
@@bluetherobot I'll give you 3 dollars to tell me 🤣
well must be bad since 44,000 rocked up to football game other day in Germany. kind think hole situation is bit of a tin foil.
What?
3:47 Cyberpunk 2? I thought that's not happening until witcher 4 comes out and even that one is ways away, what year are you from? are we not getting stalker 2 until 2040? (I know it's a slip of the tongue but holy crap that was a scary thought)
but seriously though I think it's important to remember that games as big as stalker 2 and with as much detail really do take time to make (not even polish) so especially with what is happening in Ukraine, GSC should take teir time to make something they want not what mods are or what the older games were
Definitely a slip of the tongue. Lol. Or maybe, I am from the future. And the future is bleak. Lol
As soneone currently playing through misery mod again, this looks terrible. Its gone full call of duty with the seemingly constant interruptions in gameplay with cutscenes. Clearly catering to the console player types. So disappointing.
@djtonylee don't know officially till we get our hands on it.
Have not even played the originals but tells us what stalker 2 will be
This is what I mean. You immediately discredit and attack people who haven't played the original games. How about you stop that.
Also, just to clarify, watch the video again. I mention I've played the originals, on and off stream, currently reading Roadside Picnic, and watched Stalker 1979 both on VHS, and currently online.
Have a good day.
@@bluetherobot im sorry bro. i have not heard that. i give u thumbs up now on your video
Who cares if you mod?
Thats what I'm saying...

No pip scopes, or anything similar to it = a big disappointment in immersion
I have yet to see a game do pip scopes, without sacrificing performance. Especially on console.
pip scopes are highly overrated, I can do just fine without them.
PiP scopes are cool and all but I've never seen one, even on my beast PC, not suck down a huge chunk of fps when used. Once they can minimize the performance penalty, I hope that's all that's ever used. Until then, I'll pass on PiP scopes.
Pip scopes are trash, what you get is 3d scope with peroformance issue, there is a workaround games use like pubg, pubg has decent scopes and they aren't pip so angy much?
What’s pip scope?
Its going to be on console so im sure it will be dumbed down a lot.
I hope not, but I'm curious how the original trilogy plays on console.
@@bluetherobot original isn't on console
@@JPROP-vb7sv It is nowadays
" Pre order and you get to hear more NPC stories around the campfire and they will play more songs on guitar " LMAO, combine that with paid outfit skins and I'm not buying this. I will pirate it however.
