I have no idea about entrance exam of nsmu. But I would like to mention one thing. Nsmu lies in arctic circle. Winters are very harsh and long there. Even in May-June temperatures are significantly lower. So if you’re okay with this thing. You can go.
Kazan State is better option 1. Many Indian students are here. We ahve good community of Indian students. KFU doesn't 2. KSMU is older than KFU in terms of teaching medicine so better clinical experience in KSMU. 3. Only 3-4 mbbs batches have passed out from KFU up till now on the other hand in KSMU Indian students have been taking admission from more than 2 decades.

My friend is doing mbbs aboard she said college would be like till 30-35 lakh but living expenses are like 2-3 times than india.and it's mostly around 7 years so it ends up going around total of a pvt clg frm india. + mci and internship ko add krke 8-9 yrs lg jate h.
If her expenses are 2-3 times than India, i believe she's in Moscow or St Petersburg. In Kazan in 15k Rubles is enough to have a good lifestyle. Also it takes maximum of 7 years to complete everything. Not 9 years. No college budget of Russia is 1 crore unlike India. Mind you that when i say budget is 35 or 40 lacs i include the monthly expenses of all 6 years.

Yes you can do self cooking. No issues in it. You can apply after NEET thru the official contractor of KSMU if you 100% want hostel seat. Students of 3rd party contractors very hardly get hostel seat.
