I just made this this evening and it is amazing. I didnt have all the veggies so instead used asparagus, onion, ginger, and garlic. I also did a smaller batch and down sized accordingly (kinds eye balled it) but man, the flavors are amazing! I will be rewatching this and writing down this recipe for future use. Tried this recipe tonight and turned out better than I expected. Really tasty. I didn't have the white wine but I used 'mirin' a Japanese rice wine instead. I didn't add the mushrooms or spicy doujiang as my kids don't like it. Adding cornflour.and egg to the chicken then frying first really helps keep the meat tender and juicy.

The flour remove fishy smells from the chicken.. you.may use lime or tamarind too... .. for me, i use a drop of cooking vinegar.. it really remove the chicken smell.. . ..

U can use salt also then rinse it off.
