Scuba Diving with MOBULA Rays in The AZORES

The Dive SAGA Channel travels to the Princess Alice Seamount in the Azores of Portugal, which is considered one of the best scuba diving destinations in Europe. The Azores are a group of 9 volcanic islands located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The Princess Alice Bank is a submerged seamount located 50 nautical miles from the island of Pico. The dive is not easy due to strong currents, low temperatures, and a vertigo-inducing descent. The highlight of the dive is the presence of Mobula rays, an endangered species of devil rays that gather at the seamount to feed. The dive is challenging but rewarding, and the Azores are a fantastic place for diving adventures in Europe.

Oh 110! Go out of your way to go to Pico and dive with blue sharks and do Princess Alice! I recommend CW Azores as dive center. They treated our group really well.
