I feel Rebel Moon should have been a mini series, then Snyder could have used most of the scenes. Instead it feels like he felt a mini series was beneath him and they opted instead for two films. A pity because streaming services are excellent platforms for mini series.
When Rebel Moon comes out 'properly' (on disc) it'll be roughly an hour longer apparently. These tv versions are cut down for runnng time i have read. That would explain why cetain scenes are so oddly out of context in the story telling.

but ... but... but he VOTED wrong! that makes him a fascist so we all have to punch him
I didn't know Jason Statham had a show on TH-cam...
bill and ted 4 is only getting made because reeves wants it to. In regards to captain IV, the problem is that the sheild isn't the strength it's the serum in caps body...
I watched Rebel Moon with my wife. Two weeks later I asked her if she wanted to watch Rebel Moon. Granted, I'm not a sharp as I was, truly, but damn I absolutely forgot I'd watched the film. I'll watch part two though.
And again it seems…
edgy and super clever
I'm looking forward to Megalopolis!
My interest is higher for Megalopolis after seeing the actors. And I can't be the only one that's curious about how Shia will do after exercising some of his real life demons.
I'm more likely to spend time and money staring at those Dune II popcorn buckets than any of these "movies"
Bill and Ted 3 might have had lower box office due to it playing in very few theatres. I had to wait to buy it on blu ray to see it. It ALSO came out at the start of covid. Yeah, it wasn't great, but it was a perfectly acceptable sequel
Mentioning the casting of Shire and Schwartzman in Megalopolis was hilarious. They're his sister and nephew.
Dam this channel needs a dedicated CC persons
I kept hearing him say June part 2 and had to look up a scifi film called June. Realized way too late he was saying Dune part 2😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Maybe you need to stop saving on qtips
You mean Doone
I heard Dune but I'm not American so I'm guessing you were expecting to hear doon.
I have not attended a cinematic experience since Crouching Dragon, Hidden Tiger. I find movie reviews to be an interesting slice of sociology and commentary on our social values ... or lack thereof ... and social degradation. Thanks for this. Cheers!
We were similar but did go see _Sound of Freedom_ to support the film.
Why make Bill and Ted 4? There’s really nothing left you can do with Bill and Ted since we’ve already seen them fulfill their destinies now. Again.. If anything, why not just film an actual ending to the movie that isn’t just a shot of the Earth and a two sentence narration? I’m guessing that there wasn’t much of a choice at the time because lockdowns were probably starting before the ending could finish filming. But what’s stopping them from doing it now?
megaopolis sounds like a bad Mega-City One origin story.
I enjoyed Rebel Moon
Me too...and looking forward to the 2nd
Sometimes the media tries to decide for us what movies will bomb or not. Rebel Moon was pretty fun and I look forward to part 2.
Same, i don’t know why it’s getting so much hate
Back to Black better not mess up Amy Winehouses' legacy..or ww going FIGHT.... But i want to see it because she was one of the voices of my young adult life....
rebel moon was fine, compared to other movies out there its Oscar winning material
Thanks...I enjoyed it.
I have to believe you have neither ears nor eyes, because rebel moon is only watchable if you have those above disabilities… and even then mind altering substances would probably still be needed to enhance the experience.
@veronicamaine3813 Too funny..what a way with words younhave.
I liked Rebel Moon. Sometimes watching a movie for fun is OK too.
I honestly thought Francis Ford Coppola had already passed on. Or maybe that was just his movie career I was thinking of. I'm kidding he is a great director but I really did think he had passed so I am quite happy he is still alive and kicking.
He has bren making more art house movies and only now and than when he is in the mood.
Kraven the Hunter
It looks good, what's bad about the trailer??
I still find the issue with Majors kinda weird considering that the start of the case showed that either the detectives were mental or the victim was hiding evidence. This is of course assuming that the evidence wasn't falsified after the initial accusation was dismissed after police investigation.
Bill and Ted 4 ? Oh Dear God,no ! I'm a big Keanu fan,but I thought Bill and Ted 3 was a horrible embarassment.
I literally cant watch this dudes videos.... how has no one told him to stop ending every word with "uh"... these words dont have that sounds at the end.... i cannot watch his videos.
Clearance rack Simon Miller is atrocious at this
So far, my favorite has been the animated "How to train your Dragon" franchise. Bu if what I heard is true (A live action version), they have plenty of time to screw things up.
Critical Drinker is waiting for the adult version: How to Drain Your Flagon.
Bill and Ted 3 wasn't much of a commercial success for a good reason - it came out during the pandemic after all
The Rock is getting ready to change the Christmas hierarchy of power forever.
I really didn't think rebel moon was that bad x
I feel like I'm the only one that seemed to actually like Rebel Moon.
I was one of those who believed that Toy Story 4 shouldn't have been made.
I was also one of those who was forced to eat my words after I saw Toy Story 4.
Regarding Toy Story 5 - I reserve judgement.
The greatest movie franchise? Which one has been going on the longest? 007?
If Toy Story does "OKAY" then that would be horrific for Disney. OKAY is no longer good enough. They NEED HUGE box officer smashes. Disney is no longer doing the numbers at theme parks and brand merch to be doing OKAY with their movies.
Wait, so Coppola is releasing a doomed Megalopolis? I never imagined him producing a hentai movie.
LOL, you wish. That's not even a hentai movie, there's like one incest rape scene and it's not even lewd, just disturbing. You're thinking of Legend of the Overfiend, they almost seem like the same universe.
The James Bond franchise
Dead and Buried.
Captain America: Brave Gnu Squirrel!!
You didn't explain why Bill and Ted 4 was 'doomed'. You just basically said it was being considered for production.
antman quantummania was actually really cool
I absolutely *REFUSE* to give my money to Back to Black mainly because the fact that Amy's not here to give her peace and the fact that her dad, one of the assholes who controlled her throughout her career, has a handle on the project is just disgusting! Speaking of disgusting, I refuse to support anything directed by Sam Taylor Johnson, a real life predator with a tasteless scope of direction!
love whatcultures content but these "movies already doomed" videos are soooo tacky. like its just troll fuel imo.
It's staggering how so much of the information in this video was wrong. I usually love WhatCulture, but this guy is failing hard in his attempt to be Simon Miller.
Maybe mentioning that a few of the movies getting sequels were released during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC would have added some context.
Rebel moon was a little slow but I liked it just fine
At least Megalopolis will be an ATTEMPT at something new and away from the studio system. I might just watch it for that alone...
I thought Rebel Moon wasn't that bad, actually.
Why sh!t on Megalopolis when compared to these others, it actually has artistic ambition?
Of course, if we're wrong, you'll never hear it from us.
hollywood has reached the point of living long enough to become the villian. and to think, these writers and actors felt they deserved more money. amazing they still have jobs
For a moment, I got excited as I thought "Back To Black" might be about the mighty AC/DC. You know, Back In Black
I describe Rebel Moon as a collection of great characters and set pieces in desperate search of a plot.
I'll watch part 2 just to see how the train-wreck ends.
I was out on Captain America 4 when they decided to cut all of Colby Lopez’s performance.
Was he throwing shade at Elijah at the end there? Seemed a bit facetious, lol
Rebel moon was fine. Enjoyable.
I really hope he’s wrong about Megalopolis 🤞
Trump: Did he say MAGAlopolis? Shouldn't I be getting royalties for the name?
😂
I don't trust anything you say, you told us The Beekeeper would be a flop.
I Liked Rebel Moon!
Although as a horny old man a little female nudity would have been GREAT
Captain America ?
"On your left"
That's Steve lapping you again, Sam.
I picture James Jonah Jameson watching all of these movies trailers and saying "Crap ,crap ,and more crap".
I didn't even finish Rebel Moon, I gave up half way through.
I'd watch the exorcist sequel if they used a possessed Honey Booboo.
Just what we need.. more out-of-focus footage where nothing actually happens.
Garath, I believe the phrase is "damp squid".
The Bond series is the best, and amazingly resilient over its long run.
I like Charlie hunnam, but at some point someone has to analyze the amount of flops he's been in and whether a non white handsome man would get that many opportunities.
No Green on Exorcist = improvement
alex winter sill looked the part and character of previous B&T movies, while Keanu here seemed like just a shaved John Wick
Captain America coming February 14, why they think we needed a 4th is beyond me, me looking forward to Blade.
Is it relevant you should tell us about Rebel Moon , Scargiver, i thought you were only doing forth coming cinema films
