This was very informative. I wont skip any ads esp. since I am jn a top tier country. TH-cam sounds like a scam. You do a lot work. Filming, editing, posting and they get a large chunk. I love your content and your vibe. Such a chill couple. Miss Chris' curls. Carol..you look very fresh. Content creation is a lot more complicated than most of us realized! This is probably more beneficial to travel vloggers that have a pension/retirement income to fall back on!
yes it is a tough thing to get into if you are only relying on youtube for money, fortunately it is working out for us now so hopefully it continues this way

This video just validates how honest you both are , not everyone on TH-cam is this honest . I know some travel vloggers who are clearly adding lots of semi nude footage of themselves in their vlogs to attract more views , which is disgusting and clearly just lining their pockets. Your vlogs are informative about the places you visit which are interesting and helpful and above all honest . Great work !! 👏
My wife and I have enjoyed being with you on your journey for a long time, now. We found you while we were preparing for a trip to the Philippines last year. It is always interesting to see where you are headed to next. It is also impressive to see how you have been able to finance your passion. We are so happy for you. As fellow world travelers, though, we are always curious about how you are able to manage bringing your clothes and equipment with you. Also, the other daily issues like mail, health care, etc. For me, personally, it would be interesting to know more about how you manage some of these areas of full-time travel. You guys shed a lot of light on how these things work. I got 60k views for a Holi video in Nepal this year and got just some money but nothing near your Kyoto 46k views video. Americans love watching commercials. Great job Carol and Chris. Keep on traveling and enjoying your travel life together.

if you are using youtube premium to see no ads the money still goes to all the creators that you watched during the month, if you see now adds because of some other ad blocker then i dont think creators get any money from your views

P.S. If a viewer watches your videos through a VPN, does mean that TH-cam ads pay out based on the country it seems the viewer is in due to VPN?
I didn't realize that we had to watch a portion of the ads in order for you to get paid. I always click thru them because I hate ads. NO LONGER!!

Nowadays a rich person is someone that don’t have any debt to pay....of course everyday costs of living but if you are debt free, you are somehow free! If you can add that to a way of living self sustainable and complement that with a steady income for your day to day live and to travel...you are really RICH! On the other hand if you gain a lot of money but you have a lot of debt and your way of living is just home and office/company and less time for leisure, to pay bills after bills, you are not RICH in my opinion, you are just a slave to the system, the system drain you from living...So this couple is somehow living to the fullest and making money while doing that but I really recommend to them thinking about getting a land somewhere and a self sustainable home so they could combine their lifestyle and their home...that would be very interesting content to view also in my opinion!
For me this travel channel is the best mostly because of their kind and laidback personalities 🤗 Keep doing what you love and inspire you! ❤️ From 🇵🇹

Your videos are very wholesome. Many people like that you stay in basic accommodations. Showing the prices is really great, it gives us watching how much you spend daily so we can relate. The tours, sites you show are interesting and most people like them. The fact that Carol is a beautiful woman but you do not sexualize her in your videos is really great. Its nice to see her as just a woman, that's smart and knows how to find venues, etc.... Your doing everything right and your videos are enjoyable to watch. Keep up what you're doing!!

We spend most of our time in Brasov (in Transylvania) bc my wife is from there. Like most places, the further you stay from the city center, the cheaper it is. When it comes time for you to plan for Romania, don't hesitate to reach out for advice.
