One Championship from Lumpinee Stadium is the best MMA show in the world.
Best fighter for me was RAMBOLEK, the one who won the 3.5 Mill contract, this fighter is amazing in his skill, movement counters, just wow!!! (reminds me on Tawanchai)
Also Paidang and special Batmanoi delivered amazing performance in their fights.
I feel sorry for Rittidet who got knocked out by spinning elbow because he just dominated his opponent until this ellbow knockout (but thats fighting sometimes you are ahead by a large margin and one punch and all is gone).
Great fights again in ONE Friday fights.

Panther (Thai Batman) was not as good today, Paidang gave him 2 knock outs in the first round. But to be honest Paidang was just the better man today. Not every day the fighters have their best day. This is sad for Thai Batman, as Paidang got a contract for the main ONE Championship.

ONE please consider to put round number and color trousers for each fighter during the round. Excellent venue. Thank you.
If you look at the clock you'll see 3 stripes above the ONE Logo e.g. at 11:45 the one on the left is yellow and the other two are grey, indicating that it's the first round. And the color next to the fighter names ( e.g. red > Alvarez , blue > Abasi ) represents the respective corner. Additionally, the fighters have tape of the corresponding color on their gloves. Both fighters could wear red trunks, but there is only one red corner and the other one is always blue.

No I would say he won, but near even, he had a bit more leg kicks. Anyway it was a real bad fight, the guy so big and not able to move (like a bamboo stick), the other just to small so not really a chance to get close, if he did he did a good job hiting the 'bamboo stick' with his boxing to the body.

I had done this sport for 20 years, but I am now 60 years of age , live in Thailand 36 years, I am not the judge but I think I know a thing or 2...(I am not saying that the judges are sometimes in another world, the lotterie world, as people do a lot of bidding, so the judges sometimes favor the fighter their relatives made a bidding on. Also of course if the fight is in Thailand a foreigner have many times to be the clear winner, that is no secret. But the same applies to other countries! Is it okay? Of course not as it destroys the sport, corruption is never a good thing!)

Nice to watch a Team Lakay fight without having Mr Shiavello's biased commentating Re. Team Lakay. Or to hear about the mountain they run up, the height of the mountain, how many champions they have/had...The commentators now are so much better than the aged commentary of Mr. Schiavello.(Aged because his style today is the same as he was doing last century)

The 'bamboo stick' won, yes but only just! As he had a few more leg kick hits, but nothing special at all. This fighter is so big and can't move, it was a bad fight alltogether.

Olivier Coste is a terrible Muay Thai ref, he keeps breaking the clinch in 50-50 positions with space to work... Why they don't get a full roster of Thai refs for these shows I have no idea

those are probably the rules One Championship makes, most likely to adapt the action in fights to the western audience.
I don't presume to speak for One, but these are my observations:
Coste has been reffing for One for a long time and I have been watching them for a few years now, long before the US prime time events. I haven't seen any major changes in the way he referees the fights, or a notable difference between him and the other regular refs like Sulaiman, or even Justin Brown back in the day. The guidance seems to come from One.
The Friday night fights are far less for Western audiences than they are for the Asian market. 12 hr time difference. If you've ever watched the MT streams out of Thailand or seen them in person the first few rounds are usually tippy-tappy and the last round is often two guys bicycling around the ring. A lot of that has to do with betting on the fights. One wants action and finishes by KO & TKO for TV/streaming. They also chop the fights to three rounds, again to force action. Not uncommon in Thailand, but not regulation either.
They also seem to take a narrow view on what consists of working the clinch. Again, this is to force action.
Even in US prime time, they will warn and eventually throw a yellow card for inactivity when fighters chain feint or bicycle around the ring, both MT & MMA.
Basically they would like to see three rounds of strike fighting vs five of tippy tap toes and sweaty stand up wrestling.
I personally would like to see five round main events and proper Wai Kru for those but there are time constraints with TV, as I believe these are broadcast in the Pacific market.
Agree the others are world class and this one just senseless - the fighters clinch 3 second, and he steps in, what for it is part of Muay Thai - it is no kickboxing rules!
@@anthonyzbikowski529 In Muay Thai rules they can be in close infight for quite some time, until they do not have any more action, but one ref alway stops them after 3 seconds, which is wrong as this is the kickboxing rule! The other ref's of ONE are world class refs, they even try to catch the head of the Koe'd guy in the fall so he doesn' get more insury if the head knocks on the floor! See this many times, this is world class. Also they step in just at the right time, if the other has no more chance and so avoid the total knock out!
