live a simple life..huwag mayabang and don’t buy things you can’t afford .buy only things you need..especially bags and watches etc that Filipinos like to buy to show off but ended having too much utang ...

Yung problema is maraming pilipino live beyond their means. Gusto nilang mag pasikat and to show that “they made it”. Gusto nila mag facebook to show their kaibigans how successful they are. Don’t do that. Save and think of the future, not the approval and envy of your kaibigans.

I always think maswerte ako kasi nakapunta ako dito. But still sometimes i feel sad. I don’t know why, maybe i still feel its different sa buhay sa pinas.

If you are hard working person you’ll succeed here in the State but if your lazy then you’ll never be successful. Salary are based on your experience and education. Don’t be picky on a job unless you have experience and education on a particular job/position. Every State are not the same. There are expensive State to live and there are less expensive State.

Very nice. I have relatives in the philippines and they make not much but enough money. They are content and never wished to work here. Happy people are people that are content of what they have.

Mortgage, car/medical/dental/home insurance, food, utilities, child care and after school care, property tax,etc. lahat babayaran mo yan lalo pag working ang both parents at Walang maghatid Sundo sa school you have to pay after school care. Life is expensive in the US. You gotta work to pay those bills.
If you live simple and decent life sa America,you're lives is so much more better than any where in the world. Basta kailangan mulang good Financial management at wag kang mayabang katulad ng maraming pilipino..1 job is Morethan enough to have great life dito sa America

Para sakin kahit saan naman mahirap and u need to pay bills. Ang maganda lang siguro pag nasa US ka ay worth it naman bayad mo compared dito sa pinas na masami bayarin, mataas mga bilihin, nanakawan kapa ng mga nasa gobyerno pero pahirapan sa benefits.

Honest opinion lang po ang kapatid ko nurse sa kuwait balak nyang magmove sa America ang sweldo nya ay 140 thou converted sa peso walang tax libre bahay kuryente water at transportation sa work pagkain lang di libre cost of living 50 percent cheaper kesa dyan so advice ko sa knya stay na lang sya sa kuwait tama po ba downside hanggang 60 years retirement balik na sa pinas benefits settlement pay na hanngan 30 times montly salary. Nurse din ako 25byears na dito. Opinion nyo po.

Depende sa long term goals nya. If ang goal nya eh mag migrate for good (di na babalik ng pinas ever) then USA, Canada,UK are good options. Pero if ang plan nya eh bumalik sa pinas after magkaroon ng sapat na ipon, middle east is still the best place para mag ipon. Been to Middle East and now in Europe, i can compare the difference in savings. Mas marami maiipon sa middle east. Tsaka dapat magdecide sya on her own kung ano gusto nya talaga. Yung iba kasi nagka Canada dahil lang sa inggit or kasi uso. Tapos umaalis din kasi di rin talaga yun yung gusto nila.

Good points! Kala ng family sa pinas madali Lang kumita at super laki ng kita. Di nila iniisip yung cost of living dito. Kala nila binubulsa ko lang lahat ng sahod ko. Yung net pay ko is almost kalahati na Lang. Dami pa bayarin.

America is ok if you have a demand skills, college graduate in America, but if you only work in a place that don't need education and not demand it will be hard for you.
Actually its good for both. The good thing here is if you work hard even if you dont have a degree you can still succeed! This is a land of opportunity.

The difference is theres more opportunity here in the US than Pi as long na masipag ka..even with minimum wage you can buy anything you want unlike in the Pi there are certain things that minimum wage income earner cannot buy..

Maybe the vlogger is referring the unskilled pilipino immigrant...you dont have to work hard if you can work smart,, get some skill or educate your self you dont have to work 2 jobs,,,,low taxes state doesnt mean you can save more money,that depends on quality of life and govt services..for me US stilll land of opportunity to grow,

Isn’t nice when you are 29 years old and skillfull?smart is just my other word ...some new arrivals having a hardtime some are well off ,if you migrate to US through educ,or skill base,it is easier to establish..if you are young arrival unskilled you may end up making minimum wage, taking up at least any vocational class help you achieve..
