I just found this video. I grew up in Bardstown where there are four whiskey distilleries. I love this video. In my opinion the Makers Mark bourbon chocolates are a bit milder. My mother was a tour guide at a whiskey museum in Bardstown after she retired from teaching.
My sister loves Happy Balls, they are based out of Louisville. I know the business was sold in 2018. We are in Indiana we can’t leave Kentucky without bourbon balls.
I never had a bourbon ball and I love this review. It’s was great and lots of fun. Maybe one day I’ll try them. Thanks so much. Hope you enjoy the rest of the those goodies.
A great blind taste test. Unfortunately for to the alcohol I’d give these all a miss unless I planned on visiting Kendrick, in which case I’d try them. Thanks for the review.
Blind taste tests! I love these but I wouldn't knock trying these if I could because I do actually like alcoholic chocolates. I love the Anthon Berg Chocolate liquor bottles. Despite not liking most of the alcohol on it's own.
The normal Rebecca Ruth have pecans on top. I've been eating them for 30+ years. I think this was their special derby offering with a "rose" on top a la "run for the roses".
Wow 6 different kinds! It's crazy how different they are.
Yes! We agree!

The blind taste tests are so fun! Awesome video Tami 🤗
Thank you 😊

I went to their website. They seem very uniform and professionally made. I'm surprised we haven't ever heard of them.
@@TamiDunn My sister told me to tell you that she has had Rebecca Ruth and Maker’s Mark. Happy Balls are better than both in her opinion.
I love this review. The set up and feedback were great
Thank you 😊

I hope you get to try some 😃

What is Kendrick?
@@TamiDunn that’s auto correct for Kentucky apparently 🤣

Those are so fun to try!
Those Ruth Hunt have the audacity to charge $21.19 for p*** poor pecans, looked like a squirrel had been at them
We agree!

So funny. The Rebecca Ruth bourbon ball on the link have pecans
I think the Woodford Reserve and Ruth Hunt are the same. They literally use the same bourbon and have the same nutrition and ingredients lol.
Ruth Hunt makes them but I would think Woodford Reserve would have them use a slightly different recipe.
