Great looking park so far. Love the coaster's layout, too. Although, I have a few suggestions. First, I thought no you should change the body of water to look more like a lake. I know it sounds off, but there are old parks that do sit near lakes, like the defunct Geagua Lake. Also, I feel like a variation of the word Cyclone would be a better name for a large woodie. If you still want a Scenic Railway style ride, I suggest going with the Side-Friction coaster. It's honestly a really good fit for Vintage Pack-based parks, and I'm surprised people don't use it more often. A Leak-the-Dips style ride would go great as a family ride here.
Nice park already! As a general tip: Try to bring more variation in your buildings. All the houses you build (as well as the ones in the two parks you created before) are based on squares and are mostly set up with the 4m walls. Why not just bring in some diagonal walls and hights? It even would fit in very well with the vintage amusement theming.
The game offers so many different wall-pieces, but he always uses the straight 4m walls. Why not just bring in some 3m ones for examle?! That's what I mean with different hights.
Agreed, most of the buildings are too high when compared to the height of the peeps. And like you say are pretty square. Building off the grid or using smaller grids really helps bring variation.
I love the idea of doing it as a classic park that's grown with time and has a few new rides alongside the old standbys that have been well maintained, it gives the park a sense of history!
I like the idea of running the park as if it's modern day with some newer rides in addition to the traditional rides. A Mack mega coaster like Helix or DC rivals would work really well.
Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach is one of my favourite places to go in the summer holidays. The roller coaster is my favourite ride because it's old school and a classic wooden coaster. Loved the video!
Holy cow this came faster than I thought! Never clicked so fast - definitely looking forward to this series! The flying aces coaster is something you can definitely play around with, given the theme of the trains, you can easily make up a theme for it and if you combine it with the adventure pack, it really goes far! If you want to keep it vintage, the most modern would probably be the arrow hyper. Still very fun to build! I agree, the name should be left for a while, it’s difficult unless you’ve seen where the park is going. Dueling coasters are difficult to build in my opinion, but with your skill I reckon you could do it! Thanks for the upload Shawn!
I don’t know if this is possible as I don’t play planet coaster but could you add maybe an indoor dark ride where you explain the evolution and history of coasters that may even feature in your park with those pieces that you can put photos on and have a voice over explaining it. It would be quite simple but a have a nice, interesting and charming feel to it just like it should have in a park like this. Also this is my favourite start to a series yet I cannot get enough of vintage parks good job!!
Definitely Arrow looper, Runaway mine train, log flume etc. If you do a modern coaster do an old B&M like an Apollos Chariot. Basically if you do a modern touch on part of the park do it like a Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Big fan keep up the amazing work.
Super excited for the expansion of this park. Just wanted to appreciate how much time and effort you put into each video and the community, along with the other "behind the scenes" members, your efforts don't go unnoticed! Can't wait for the next episode :)
This is actually one of the best themed parks ive ever seen, the secenry is amazing and the placement of rides it feels right so props to you! Cant wait for the next one :) .
You should do a showcase of the parks not built for youtube, it would be really interesting to see what else you get up to and any experiments you might have made of rides / buildings
Excited to see this amusement park coming along, maybe you could put in some sort of drop tower ride or flying swing ride (you know the ride that looks like a carousel, but it's swings instead of horses and it's high up) I always love those rides.
I think eventually a good challenge would be creating either a post apocalyptic park or a spooky abandoned haunted one. I have always been fascinated by abandoned parks.
I was at Dreamland Margate Today, just done Scenic Railway for my first time, Its inspired me to do a Vintage Park (I Think the Scenic Railway is best front row)
wild mouse coasters, the wooden bobsled, a cyclone type layout wooden coaster, and some of the older steel coasters would be nice. but yes i think you should do a blackpool pleasure beach type park with the modern rides mixed in
I’m so glad I came across this video and your channel. I really enjoyed this and look forward to watching this amusement park grow. Your work is good as well as your knowledge of the carnival/amusement/theme park world.
I'd love to see this park get a classic wooden wild mouse! The park could be called riverside pleasure beach Keep up the good work, i love your planet coaster content!
you should make an arrow looper or vekoma slc, they’re the sort of rides that really please the gp who visit parks like this but would still have an older feel to them!!!
I think the scenic railway should be called Wave Breaker or Wave Rider, the drop and air time hills remind me of a wave and the park is a sea side park so it's fitting.
Great video, I can't wait to see this park come together. I really like your fun house idea and I would love to see a queue line fun house like Wilde Maus XXL. I feel a Schwarzkopf looping coaster would be great (like you said). Either launched or lift hill (or both like flamingo land had) I don't mind.
I'd like to see 1 major modern roller coaster to be the flagship attraction for the park, keeping the rest quite old fashioned (Think Daemonen at Tivoli gardens)
following your point on recreations, if you build your own park you will be able to make it a lot faster because you do what you want but if your recreating something then it takes twice as long because your trying to go for detail
You could create a very vintage park at first, and then add some more modern rides such as the arrow loopers, enterprises, pirate ships etc. to create an 80’s / 90’s feel to complement the vintage rides already there, to create a pleasure beach kind of feel to it.
I think you should keep to mostly old style attractions but, if you want to include newer sorts of rides, make them look old-fashioned if you can. What you've got so far looks great, I must say, and I'm looking forward to seeing more!
I think maybe 1 or 2 modern steel coasters would be good. Pleasure Beach for example with Infusion and Icon as the main steel coasters. Obviously there is the big one but that is pretty old school at this point.
Great vid once again Shawn! Some ideas: Vekoma boomerang a short eurofighter (like hydrus) every park needs some new additions! The classic wooden wild mouse arrow looping coaster Bobsled coaster (maybe) These are just ideas :)
You should make a dark ride like Cave Train at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, you could get someone to make models for it in Blender and upload them with Thememakers Toolkit. Also you should add in a Grand Carousel and Swift Eagles from Magnificent Rides Collection DLC
Amazing first episode! You got so much done! As for names, I'm pretty dry at the moment, but, I do have a name for the park, though I won't suggest it yet,as it is too early in development to get a full taste of the park!
@@RMTheMan mehh vekoma looping coasters and stuff would look fine but it defeats the purpose of a vintage park if its has completley contemporary ride types
I think sticking with the classic retro stuff would work great at this park, a bit of a time capsule. If you do desiccate to put in a steel coaster you should do one of those classic old Jumbo Jet style coasters we had here in the States. Oh oh and one of those also cheesy pretzel dark rides too.
you should make an old coaster dark ride like Blazing Fury at Dollywood! Large Arrow Steel Hypercoaster would be nice! Maybe even an SLC with the new DLC!
I feel like if your going to have a steel coaster, then an arrow would work well for the low budget nature. Maybe an SLC which is included in the new magnificent rides DLC.
Pls add an old ghost train
I will do!
A arrow looper like lockness monster also needs a Ferris wheel and a wild mouse and a pirate ship
Congratulations for winning best theme park based gamer in the Clamshell awards 2018
Thank you Andy!
Great looking park so far. Love the coaster's layout, too. Although, I have a few suggestions.

@@ThemeParkWorldwide You're welcome!
You need to make a mine train coaster interacting with the terrain like seven dwarfs mine train
Nice park already! As a general tip: Try to bring more variation in your buildings. Diagonal walls are quite cool but what's hights?
The game offers so many different wall-pieces, but he always uses the straight 4m walls. Why not just bring in some 3m ones for examle?! That's what I mean with different hights.
@@parkfreak96 he uses 3m walls for shorter stuff.
Oh yeah, it's heights.
Agreed, most of the buildings are too high when compared to the height of the peeps. And like you say are pretty square. Building off the grid or using smaller grids really helps bring variation.
Thanks for sharing your suggestions!
You could turn the cave the guests come out of into a tunnel with a road coming out.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Just me who finds it so satisfying when Shaun completes a build
I like the Idea of building it with time in thought. So that the rides develops over time
You should call the scenic railway: (name of park) Railway - simple like the olden days :)
I love the idea of doing it as a classic park that's grown with time and has a few new rides alongside the old standbys that have been well maintained, it gives the park a sense of history!
Oh, and as far as rides go - is there a way to do a steeplechase style racing ride? That's one of my favourite themed old rides.
Thanks for sharing your suggestions!
listening to this British man ramble on about how theme parks make him so happy makes me really happy for him
I love them!
Make a Schwarzkopf coaster with the new DLC coming Tuesday, would be a great vintage addition!
It would indeed!
Pop jess wakeup wakie
DigitalDan I have found you again. Poggers
Magnificent Rides Collection!!!
I like the idea of running the park as if it's modern day with some newer rides in addition to the traditional rides. A Mack mega coaster like Helix or DC rivals would work really well.
Imagine being a gardener in this park. There are already so many damn flowers out there to tend to.
Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach is one of my favourite places to go in the summer holidays. The roller coaster is my favourite ride because it's old school and a classic wooden coaster. Loved the video!
It's a great park, thanks for watching! Our latest episode has also just gone online
Dude, how are you so knowledgeable about roller coaster/attractions/parks? I feel like I just learned so much watching your video.
I think a good thing to do at the end of the videos when your doing your finishing off to zoom out and show a birds eye view of what you've done
Holy cow this came faster than I thought! Never clicked so fast - definitely looking forward to this series! Yes! Please make this very much like Blackpool pleasure beach! Compact and containing some classic and modern rides 👍
Loving the game play! Cannot wait for the rest of the series! You should call the roller coaster "Rocket" :)
I don’t know if this is possible as I don’t play planet coaster but could you add maybe an indoor dark ride where you explain the evolution and history of coasters that may even feature in your park with those pieces that you can put photos on and have a voice over explaining it. Thank you for your suggestion, I love this idea!
make a Valhalla-like log flume pls :D
Yes! Definitely!
Thanks for your suggestion!
😳 Val- Valha- Va- Va- Valhala 😩
Where's that again? I recognise that name
A Whole Lot Of Rachel a ride in Black pool
Great Yarmouth is my local park so it’s great to see a scenic railway in planet coaster 👍
Great first episode of your third series of Let’s Play Planet Coaster Shawn. Looking forward to future episodes of the third planet coaster series
Make a shuttle loop or a double corkscrew or even a black- hole type ride from Alton Towers because they are classic
Definitely Arrow looper, Runaway mine train, log flume etc. If you do a modern coaster do an old B&M like an Apollos Chariot. Basically if you do a modern touch on part of the park do it like a Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Big fan keep up the amazing work.

This is AMAZING!!! Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished!
This is actually one of the best themed parks ive ever seen, the secenry is amazing and the placement of rides it feels right so props to you! Cant wait for the next one :) .
Thank you, we're only just getting started!
I'd love to see you make use of the Schwarzkopf coaster coming to Planet Coaster :)
I definitely will be!
I suggest ‘Brook Sands’ as the name of the park. Set at the seafront, sounds vintage and well any similarity to your name is pure coincidence.
cant wait to see this park develop
Still your best park mate. In fact, this is probably my favourite park anyone has created on this game. This place is my personal heaven :)
Thank you!
this kind of reminds me of that area i’m disney world where it has the goofy and the circus theme.
I love the developing park idea
This theme parks gonna be great!
Love your creativity in these videos man
You should do a showcase of the parks not built for youtube, it would be really interesting to see what else you get up to and any experiments you might have made of rides / buildings

Some type of Traver-esque Wooden twister like something reminiscent of the Crystal Beach Cyclone would be nice
Omg add a ferris wheel!! And maybe add a lighthouse (?) HAHAHA
Shawn At the end 2018 - beginning of 2019 they are adding more rides like a bigger merry-go-round and many more.
This reminds me of Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT USA. I grew up near this park and is the oldest amusement park in America!
I loved the planet coaster soundtracks in the background but different
Make an old fashioned log flume
A name your first big wooden coaster, The Velvet coaster, a little nod to the old vide at BPB
I think eventually a good challenge would be creating either a post apocalyptic park or a spooky abandoned haunted one. I have always been fascinated by abandoned parks.
Thanks for your suggestion
I was at Dreamland Margate Today, just done Scenic Railway for my first time, Its inspired me to do a Vintage Park (I Think the Scenic Railway is best front row)
my inner coaster junkie has gotten me addicted to this channel
A new series is also coming next week!
wild mouse coasters, the wooden bobsled, a cyclone type layout wooden coaster, and some of the older steel coasters would be nice. but yes i think you should do a blackpool pleasure beach type park with the modern rides mixed in
I’m so glad I came across this video and your channel. I really enjoyed this and look forward to watching this amusement park grow. Your work is good as well as your knowledge of the carnival/amusement/theme park world.

Omg your amazing it real looks awersome it’s Just looks like an actual theme park or amusement park nice mate
Wow this park looks great!
Thank you, check out our latest episode!
I want this game so bad!
Btw on your Vlogs (you don’t have to) can you go to a water park? And I’m jealous
Thank you, we have done before!
Theme Park Worldwide ok
A steeple chase would be great or a vintage wild mouse coaster 😀
I think the scenic railway should be called Wave Breaker or Wave Rider, the drop and air time hills remind me of a wave and the park is a sea side park so it's fitting.

I feel a Schwarzkopf looping coaster would be great (like you said). Either launched or lift hill (or both like flamingo land had) I don't mind.
This is a name for the park. Smiley shores pleasures beaches
You should put some roaming characters around the park because d fashioned and vintage parks us to have lots of those.
I will do!
I'd like to see 1 major modern roller coaster to be the flagship attraction for the park, keeping the rest quite old fashioned (Think Daemonen at Tivoli gardens)
The evolving park would be cool
And if you do add a modern coaster you should add a gerslaur eroufighter
following your point on recreations, if you build your own park you will be able to make it a lot faster because you do what you want but if your recreating something then it takes twice as long because your trying to go for detail
you should definitely have some of the flat rides coming in the next DLC and maybe an Arrow hyper would look cool
A powered mine train coaster would also work great for this park.
As a steel coaster you could do a vekoma looping coaster like Python in the Efteling. Also keep it vintage. And also, it's great!
I’m been looking foraged to this
Looking forward to this series
Build some old school steel Coasters aswell. Maybe an arrow looper and a Pinfari galaxy
You could create a very vintage park at first, and then add some more modern rides such as the arrow loopers, enterprises, pirate ships etc. to create an 80’s / 90’s feel to complement the vintage rides already there, to create a pleasure beach kind of feel to it.
Definitely so!
Ride ideas: Ghost train, Wild Mouse, Wendigo, and maybe a Gerstlauer Eurofighter (not sure but I feel it would look good.)
I think you should keep to mostly old style attractions but, if you want to include newer sorts of rides, make them look old-fashioned if you can. What you've got so far looks great, I must say, and I'm looking forward to seeing more!
Thanks for sharing your suggestions!
Shawn! You Should Add A Mack Launch Coaster Like ICON! (But Instead Of A 0G Roll Do An Actaul Loop.
Please keep it to a vintage park with all old school rides. Keep to old classics like arrow corkscrew and wooden bobsleds😀😀
Using a swarzkof looper form the new dlc would be a good steel coaster for this park.
I reckon you should call it Victoria Park as it's traditional and the entrance has a royal type feel to it
Thanks for the awesome name suggestion!
I think maybe 1 or 2 modern steel coasters would be good. Pleasure Beach for example with Infusion and Icon as the main steel coasters. Obviously there is the big one but that is pretty old school at this point.
Great vid once again Shawn!
Some ideas:
Vekoma boomerang
a short eurofighter (like hydrus) every park needs some new additions!
The classic wooden wild mouse
arrow looping coaster
Bobsled coaster (maybe)
These are just ideas :)
Thanks for sharing your suggestions!
If you use two coasters and connect them with the coaster chain feature they will link perfectly
Please do some modern rides like a dive coaster (I was thinking Baron 1898)
WillisideHD Rammer gotta love Baron. It scared me when it hung over the top.
Oliver Aldington it’s such a Great Ride!
That might not work so well in a 'vintage park'
Shawn Literally Said That He Would Still Add A Couple Of Of Modern Rides In The Video Frowning.
@@RMTheMan mehh vekoma looping coasters and stuff would look fine but it defeats the purpose of a vintage park if its has completley contemporary ride types
Flying Turns would be great as well...
I think sticking with the classic retro stuff would work great at this park, a bit of a time capsule. If you do desiccate to put in a steel coaster you should do one of those classic old Jumbo Jet style coasters we had here in the States. Oh oh and one of those also cheesy pretzel dark rides too.
Thanks for your suggestion!
I think you should make some newer steel coasters but not too many. Good luck on the build.
you should make an old coaster dark ride like Blazing Fury at Dollywood!
Large Arrow Steel Hypercoaster would be nice!
Maybe even an SLC with the new DLC!
Thanks for sharing your suggestions!
You should call the park "Coaster Shores" or something with shores
YES STRAIGHT INTO IT YAY
Custom looping Schwartzgopf (dunno how to spell) the parks largest investment in history
You should have mascots roaming the park
Old school dark ride please! :D
Cant wait to see how this will come out Shawn
I'd like to see you make a coaster like The Ultimate at Lightwater Valley where it flies and turns through the trees
I feel like if your going to have a steel coaster, then an arrow would work well for the low budget nature. Maybe an SLC which is included in the new magnificent rides DLC.
That fact that this is in the game
Is this going to be a low or high budget park
Seems high budget to me with its manacured gardens and over the top buildings
It'll be high budget amusement park
