sir can you tell me why the u tube manometer's left limb showed higher level as compared to that of right limb even though the left limb of manometer was connected to the upstream side of venturimeter (i.e convergent side).... the pressure is higher in entry of convergent section but yet the manometer left limb shows higher mercury level... cant understand this paradox...

because we open the tank or anything to flow through the pipe ,initial static pressure is will high (v is decreases) when we check through manometer, then water flows through sometime then we again measure the pressure , p is decrease ( velocity increases) or apply the contiunity equation u will get answer .p1> p2 that's why
