    Hello Tiago how do you keep centered the Objetive while staking ?

      I use an equatorial platform for tracking the objects. This one: th-cam.com/video/8NipBy6E63c/w-d-xo.html

    Great job, Tiago. it makes me want to learn to use the sequencer! Thanks for the time you took to produce this!

    Well done my friend!! - I saw Mike Jerry using this sometime back and decided to give it a try. The Sequencer in SharpCap is very powerful, saves time, and puts consistency in the viewing session. The user interface makes setting things up a breeze. (No pun intended about your winds). Nice video with great details!! Keep it coming Tiago!!

      ahahah thanks! I think it's a matter of time all sharpcap users will end up use the sequencer, one way or the other. cheers.

    Great video about Sequencer. I especially like the last half showing the exact how to create the sequences. In your sequence you had Start Live Stacking, and then Play the Alert Sound. How does Live Stacking know when complete? You did not show this step.
    I hope you can make more videos showing different sequences and how to do guiding and also dithering between sequences. Thanks!

      Hi Roger. When complete Sharpcap just play the sound and the sequencer box is closed. I can demonstrate that eventually on the live streams but as i don't guide or dither i don't use that feature.

    Hi Tiago. This is a great beginners video thank you. Is there a way to save and send the sequencer files you develop as a template? And have you got your sequences so?

      To clarify any doubts about sequencer you should expose them during my live streams where i'm glad to help. The files don't work outside the owner device .

    Great video Tiago! You make EAA look too easy! I should try this sequencer soon.
    How is it that you always have blue skies and clear nights? I get about 4 decent nights with good seeing per Month!

    I strugled and not seen saved pictures because output format was set Fits in sequencer .But you all meber of Dobsonian Power told that output format when "save with adjustments" and "save exactly as seen" near main histogram must be saved as PNG Sobchanged in sequencer output format from Fits to Png.Hope this will solve myvproblemvand can see saved stacked frames in colours as was seen on my laptop display

    Thank you very much for this Tiago!! You are AWESOME!!
    It appears that you have the system in live-stacking mode with the use of dark frames for your "Search" sequence.
    Is this correct?
    And if so - why would you bother to live-stack while searching for an object?
    Sincere thanks!

    • @DobsonianPower
      @DobsonianPower  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, when i search for an object i don't live stack. I use darks for search to get a smoother background though.

    • @dw6528
      @dw6528 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DobsonianPower Oh that is interesting! You mean SharpCap will apply the darks to the image without being in live-stacking mode?

    • @DobsonianPower
      @DobsonianPower  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dw6528 No, sorry, i explained wrong. Darks are only applied during captures. I can't remember why i did those darks for searching in the past. They are very old and i even forgot they were there while searching. I think i did them to have something in the software in case i want to live stack at maximum gain. I'm not sure. They should be redundant while searching without stacking.

    • @dw6528
      @dw6528 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DobsonianPower AH! Ok got it! As part of the system's use case - Darks are sub-function of live-stacking mode.
      Do you mind if I ask another question.
      In your sequence - you have a camera command "Set offset to 8"
      I recently acquired a used ASI294 - and prior to this was using the ASI385 camera
      I found the 385 camera gain setting to be most useful at around 375
      But the 294 camera does not appear to capture as much light as the 385 - so I was setting its gain to 450 or above.
      When I saw you set the offset to 8 - I was wondering if that is because the 294 camera tends to not be bright enough?

      @@dw6528 i did trial and error until i find the best for my set up and my sky. you should do the same, it's the best thing to do
