Also need to remember that she lives an easy, cushy life. Most people with ED still have to work, pay bills, struggle with finances, housework. I'm sure this adds to her ability to persevere as long as she has.

@jennamiller212 bingo so she had zero distractions which working having children could potentially put the ED on the back burner . It did for me . When I was pregnant I felt free because it was ok to gain weight for the baby. She unfortunately has a disconcerned mother whom promotes it . That's the sad part . She lies for eugenia which idk what's worse debs lies or debs denial or debs just don't give a shit attitude...how she does that as a mother . I'd be fighting tooth n nail for my child to recover.

same here. My parents are boomers and so are most of my aunts and uncles. They all have the same attitude of not thinking mental health is a real thing. I've just started therapy a month ago for PTSD and I'm keeping it secret from my parents because I know they'd just invalidate it and ruin my progress. I was talking to my therapist about it last week and she said its not rare for people to hide going to therapy from their family, which made me kinda sad.... from what I've seen it seems like pretty much all boomers are crap about mental health problems and dont believe any of it is real and sweep it under the rug. I guess maybe boomers are like that cause of how they were raised? the generations before them that raised them lived through the war and were used to just "shut up and get on with things" and I imagine they imposed that onto their kids and now those kids who are grown up adult boomers are putting it onto the younger generations

That whole thing about boomers not ignoring ED’s, they knew but didn’t know how to resolve the issue. They had the, “rub some dirt on it and you’ll be fine” mentality. Until like 7 or 8 years ago, my dad thought therapy was for “crazy” people. He kind of understands now but that took a lot of explaining. They look at health and mental health as a non issue.

With an implanted port no part of it is visible from the outside. .........she might have a port for fluids and nutrients. They can be surgically implanted to give IV treatments and blood transfusions directly into a vein. A port also allows easy access to a vein for blood draws. People with cancer, severe infections, kidney failure and IBD may need implanted ports. With the device, you need fewer needle sticks for certain treatments, like chemotherapy. They can be implanted under the skin so not visible. An implanted port is a device that allows repeated and long-term access to your bloodstream. It can also be used for antibiotics, IV nutrition, and other IV fluids. Yes it can be used long term. I'm a nurse and have had long term cancer treatment with iv nutrients in through a port when I was unable to eat.

"Morning skinny" is a real thing. Although I don't consider myself to suffer with an ED anymore, the mental effects will always remain in some way. It's just about having that self awareness from being in a recovered state that you're able to know when you're doing something or slipping into that bad mentality again.
I wake up every morning and I'll check in the mirror, and I won't eat anything when I'm in work for the 12 hours just because I want to keep that look. I only eat once my shift has finished and returned home. If I'm going out with friends for drinks, I also won't eat, I don't want to look bloated at all.
It's not a healthy mindset I'm aware, but, I have managed to transform it in a sense to be fasting. I still eat and get a healthy amount of calories, but I eat every 12 hours because that's what my body is used to and I find eating whilst I'm in work makes me feel sluggish.

@Tabbykat13 n thin feels good physically. I love to feel empty n not bloated. If I eat anything I bloat n it's miserable. It's sad because when I was recovered so to speak I turned into a foodie but during my obsessive times I hate how I feel after eating anything . It's hard . I'm at a point today that I'm not eating most of the week but then will stress eat for two days n I keep playing with this 4 to 6 pounds up n down from ejecting, projecting or the slower route of laxatives its a daily issue .. I'm short so it's noticeable either way. But I'm grown n I do the best I can only one person besides my mom n sister know about my ED. People just assume I'm small cuz that's my stature . I work at a correctional facility with mirrored windows so I see me all the time. I'm not going to place blame on mirrored windows for my problems tho. Also, it's not just replacing water but, as Jordy said, electrolytes and even TPN (actual nutrition if needed). So, as Jordy was trying to figure out how she could be getting fluids at home (and the chat echoed the inquires), I just elaborated. I agree. No way she would allow TPN in her body. Sad, really, but maybe LR with certain electrolytes added? That wouldn't be completely out of reach. Also, she could be getting her blood drawn to see just how low her potassium, sodium, calcium, etc are in her system. The nurses may adjust the IV according to her specific needs. Sadly, I think, if this is the case, it is not much more (if at all) than supportive/palliative care as opposed to healing treatments.

Much love to those struggling or who have struggled with EDs. As Jordy said, I'd also like to believe that anyone can come back from the brink of death. However, Eugenia is not "anyone" in that sense - her worldview is far more limited. Her only social life appears to be superficial online interactions with underage strangers, being bullied by Jeffree and his goons, and enabled by her mother. She doesn't appear to have any interests outside of things that focus on her physical appearance (makeup and clothes). She doesn't appear to have long-term goals, independent life skills, or education. Her job is a professional fawner.
I feel compassion for her mental illness and I believe in recovery...but Eugenia is so removed from reality that she's stuck in her own pocket dimension, as are the gorls. I can't hold sympathy for those who never take accountability.

10:30 I’m a singer so I know exactly what you mean, part of breath control is having to sing sometimes 15-30 seconds worth of music with NO breaths and singing takes more air than talking. Sometimes outside of singing I do this too because I’m bipolar and I ramble sometimes, (my poor husband who claims he loves it lol) and I can babble for a good 20 or 30 seconds and forget to breath then by the time I do it’s a big gasp for air and then back to babbling like an idiot. Then again I have severe asthma and a pocket in my lung, I don’t think normal people without some health ailments do that.

Do you mean Jordy? I only just started the video. He has a mature look for his years, I doubt he would believe that. People can definitely look attractive in those decades, it just requires a little more effort I think. No more late nights, alcohol sessions, living on junk food (or no food at all as the case may be) good skincare, exercise etc. Eugenia looks older due to things like bone loss and skin shrivelling/dehydrating, things that usually happen in senior years. So I imagine she has a very poor perspective on ageing. Stay healthy and you can always remain the best version of yourself at every decade.

1:26:00 Jordy I see reaction channels that react to old TV shows. Their trick is that they tilt the screen so that YT cannot register it. As an example YT channel Luxeria, she reacts on
TV shows like "America's Next Top Model", "bridzilla's", "Supersize VS Superskinny", "wife swap" etc. Maybe it also works with old Eugenia YT videos? Like what DCP does is first download the YT videos and then film themselves and turn on their screen recorder at the same time so they can edit it at the same time for the video. And so with Eugenia's videos maybe tilt so YT and or that company doesn't "register" it as copyright? I try to think along with you, Jordy.😅

Jordy, I know what u mean with the IV's... they go to the med spas & have diff types u can choose. Some have B12 vitamins infused that go in thru the IV. It helps hydrate, give energy & focus. I've watched some of their videos & they explain & customers swear by them. They also help hangovers because it's mostly dehydration, ya know? I can't believe nobody really knows about what we're talking about. Alot of ppl do it on camera or the doctor/nurse can do their own. It's just a room with an IV pole, supplies & the "infusions" as they call them.

I think all people struggling with an ED see bad things happening to others but never see it happening to them, but it's not really a matter of if but when. Your ED never lets you win though. In her mind she probably does not see herself as someone who is anorexic. She herself needs to make the choice I want to recover for me and not for anyone else. I think people would be a lot more open if she was simply honest with her struggle. I find her frustrating because she says she is "fine and everything" while people know with an ED how difficult it is to keep up with it and the constant anxious thoughts you have while being stuck in it. As much as I'm sure she loves going to see Jeffree it also I'm sure causes a lot of anxiety because it forces her to be around food. When you are that far in thoughts of food are constantly there and that too is a piece of shame for the person with the ED. I hope she can turn this around but it's hard to see what will be her push to recover for her.

When my husband was dying, TPN was only good/ useful for a week. He had to get a feeding tube down his nose and then a permanent one in a minor surgery in his stomach and when he came home, I had to measure his adult formula a press it into his permanent tube feeding thing. It was a super minor surgery. But the adult formula smells so bad. He was still allowed to eat, but at the end lost his appetite and threw everything up he tried to eat. She could have a tube feeding thing and Deb might be putting that adult formula in it. He lost 60-70 on it and hardly being able to intake calories. She isn’t on IVs- in the hospital they made it very clear that that isn’t a long term solution. Tube feeding is, though.

A lot of people seem to imply that she cannot be both calculated and naive/clueless. And look, maturity is extraordinarily complex. Here's an example, beyond my puny Psych bachelor's degree:--- I "dated" a guy while I was in active drug addiction who spent 15 years in prison from age 18-34 (bad time, didn't have to tell me he was gonna beat the shit outta me but that was moreso where I was at, and not the point) But, he ended up years later down the road with a girl 20 years younger than him because of how much he could relate to her, in the emotional immaturity and otherwise that he possessed, based on his time away from society. Like full on high school relationship behavior. For instance, one small example and this is a purposely superfluous example: Once, I said to him that I needed to get away for a second and get a drink at the bar. Like, I went across the street to take a shot. Dude texts me saying "oh I'm with (x) girl and oh she's picking me up and oh we are doing this and this", and I just kind of side eyed it... and low and behold, I walk in my apartment and he's sitting on the couch by himself, texting lol. That's a very minute example in the grand scheme of what other types of behavior came from that experience but, indicative of not being able to think for the next moment, a key point of maturity.. in contrast to that, as much as I hate to say it, there were things he did in observing situations, driving carefully (seems a strange point but most reckless drivers are teenagers that cannot appreciate the next moment), planning, etc. Criminal stuff, but still. and some other bits of residual knowledge that were developed skills. And it was clear especially in retrospect the whole stretch of when I was with him. And the 18 year old girl behaved the same way, which is the way she was meant to... for her age. And wanted to be with him because her lack of life experience did not show her (a sober person) of any age, that he's a dime a dozen loser, talkin about how she "changed him" and he wouldn't put his hands on her. Well, I think both me and the phantom reader of this comment knows how right she was about that. She actually stabbed me and I never reported it so now I have 40 percent nerve function of my dominant hand for the rest of my life, so that's cool, but neither here nor there, besides the fact that she cannot appreciate the weight of her actions and I had a soft spot for her as I saw myself in her. Him, on the other hand, went back to prison. Alls well that ends well. Until he got out. So it can look a lot of different ways that people are complex and it just isn't as simple as calculated vs. la-dee-da

My daughter is an RN and there’s no way she’s sustaining that weight without having a hospital grade IVs, and what not hooked up in her house or in here bedroom. There are even times when patients will rent equipment that they need at home so they don’t have to be at the hospital all the time…. so yeah it’s very easy to achieve her weight and energy if she’s getting food and medicine and it could be at night while she’s in bed sleeping….when it probably happens, but I don’t know when she does it, but there is no way she is sustaining her energy or her weight….without Hospital type help… plus you’ve got home health nurses that will come out and replace or check up or whatever the patient may need…..it happens all the time……

Definitely know what you mean!!! Been there done that. I didn't quit tho. I did this for years until it caused me to have heart trouble if I binge drink called AFIB. Finally scared me into stopping tho I'm glad you quit sooner than me!

@mostlyysorryy well I had around 8 years of drinking and eventually it became worse and worse of an addiction and I was making poor choices.

NG tube feeding can definitely be used long term. It is not uncommon for children and teens with inflammatory bowel disease to use overnight NG feeds to supplement their oral feeds. The place the tube in the evening, run the feed overnight, and pull it out in the am so they can go to school tubeless.

She’s been like this almost her whole life (since her teens) if I’m not mistaken. Her disease is progressing much slower than the typical person struggling with this. She and her mom talk about it as just her normal. It almost seems like until she was involuntarily admitted into the treatment facility she didn’t fully know (or acknowledge) that she has an ED. She just thinks she diets to stay healthy and looking good. It’s like she doesn’t know or engage in the more insidious and destructive elements of the disease that can cause the deadly stress hormone cortisol, which is what causes the disease to progress quickly and reap all kinds of awful on the body.
    From my point of view
it seemed like she dropped weight and became more skeletal looking pretty quickly very shortly after the involuntary treatment debacle. Just my opinion.

I don't think she is on IV bc once you would notice some bruises from it. I don't believe she does anything for treatment.

I want to say some stuff that is not going to be popular and will probably get me a lot of hate in response but I don't care. Eugenia has been on TH-cam for probably close to 10 years now slowly starving herself to death. The entire time people have begged her to get help. People have tried to make her get help she absolutely refuses. she keeps going down this path. isn't it may be time to give up. I'm certain there are other people out there in the world and maybe on TH-cam that need help and advice and would appreciate it. Instead everyone keeps concentrating on Eugenia and all she responds with basically is just a big middle finger. Well maybe not that bold but she refuses to get help. She refuses to admit she even has a problem. At this point why even bother if you feel the need to help somebody I'm certain there's another young person on the internet going through issues that you can give advice to.

I bet your bottom dollar she is on an IV. I imagine there is another room with an iv and hospital bed. No way she sleeps on that couch. I bet she gets vitamins and fluids and other things to keep her alive. They would put the iv in where no one would see it, she probably bruises very easily. Her body has nothing left to give itself. I m surprised her teeth haven't fallen out. Her skin is stretched so far over her face.
I don't wish her any ill will but she drives me crazy.
