You speak the truth. It surprised me that he didn’t run in the 6 months after his spots were raided. He was still allowed to have his private jet and his passport. His ego (and his attorneys) made him not see the severity of having a RICO case thrown at him and thought his money would get him out of this like it has for the past 30 years.

His colossal EGO wouldn't allow him to believe that he would actually be found guilty. He will serve decades in prison, if not more. I've been to prison before and I can tell you what he is going through right now is sheer hell. It took me about 3 months to adjust, but those three months felt like six because they were so stressful. Wait till he has to get all his body hair shaved, shower in front of the COs and have delousing powder thrown all over him. Talk about a low point!
