You are absolutely right about Frances rap music, and obviously french is a language spoken by far more people than german, so the audience is naturally bigger, and pretty diverse too, cause of the many french speaking countries in Africa.

Its just that rap music is the n1 music in france and belgium since a bit less than 10 years I would say. Germans seems to listen to a lot more electro/house/tech and also pop music than in France. Here basically if you're under 30yo the default music to listen to is Rap music. All the biggest french artists are rapping.

@@lafusew Well i have heard that some of the most famous rappers with african routes are celebrated in subsaharan Adrican countries, but at the end of the day you should have better knowledge of the french rap game than me, i could be wrong. And french is off course a better sounding language than my language, and i especially like the beats of french rap, very sophisticated and well done. Sometimes i feel bad that i didn´t bother to learn the language at school when i had the chance.
