  • This video is a tribute to the GREATEST WIDE RECEIVER OF ALL-TIME!!!!!!............ and often called the greatest NFL player of all time.
Rice is the all-time leader in most major statistical categories for wide receivers, including receptions, touchdown receptions, and receiving yards, once being the leader for total yards and touchdowns in a season. He has scored more points than any other non-kicker in NFL history with 1,256.[7] Rice was selected to the Pro Bowl 13 times (1986-1996, 1998, 2002) and named All-Pro 12 times in his 20 NFL seasons. He won three Super Bowls with the 49ers and an AFC Championship with the Oakland Raiders. As of 2017, Rice holds over 100 NFL records, the most of any player by a wide margin. In 1999, The Sporting News listed Rice second behind Jim Brown on its list of "Football's 100 Greatest Players" The Top 100: NFL's Greatest Players as the greatest player in NFL history. Rice was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

At 39 and 40 years old he was starting and catch 175 receptions and 2300 yards in these 2 seasons. So where are the stickum haters now because this man has out worked all the best receivers hints the reason he's the greatest.

Not only was he starting but he was still good enough to be WR1. At 39&40. Something like that will never be done again

Rich Gannon, Tim Brown, and Jerry Rice were all in their mid to late 30's putting up elite level numbers. Age don't mean nothing if you're great.

It's crazy how rice was still able to play at an elite level pushing 40. I know QBs last into their 40s pretty frequently but wide receiver is such a more physically demanding position

12:49 the man had 824 catches after the age of 30 that’s insane

Jerry Rice's raiders run really cemented himself as the greatest player in NFL history for me. He was a pro bowl caliber receiver in his late 30s and early 40s, something no other player has accomplished. And he did it playing for another team as well. I don't think we're ever going to see what Jerry Rice has done ever again

Most important thing from this video is that jerry loved the game and that’s what gruden is looking for in young players if they love the game of football.

It trips me out sometimes...Jerry Rice was a Raider. It was surreal as it was happening. And he wasn't just a guy...he was probably the best offensive player we had those first two years (Garner makes a strong case as well).

@@отпирайте When I say offensive player, I'm talking skill positions. The QB by default is the most important player. I just mean with Timmy Brown, with Garner, with Porter, with Wheatley...we had TALENTED guys, and Jerry was still at the top of his game those first two years. Even in 2003, he was really productive, we just had no chance with Mirer starting 1/2 the games.

    Kobe Bryant work ethic.
The games are the definition of fun and a good time.
The other part sucks tho and that’s just the truth, the meetings suck, film study isn’t fun, practice really sucks, workouts, the drills, etc etc.
That part is no fun I swear to god it’s not, and people don’t think about that part. I’m speaking from experience from college ball.
With that being said, Jerry loved every part of it, the parts that aren’t fun, that nobody wants to do, Jerry loved even that.
