You know, I kind of like you. For some reason, with your style and body language you kind of remind me of Chris Do. I want to give you some tips, that I think may help you. 1. Grow social media following and then share your videos on that social media page to attract more viewers. 2. Add some maybe lo-fi or some other music in the background but make it quiet enough to just fill the silence and not interrupt you. 3. You always appear in a different background, and sometimes it looks like you are just in some living room, I would recommend either to make it more "presentable" for instance that could be either an office space or investment into your room or at least you can stand against a clean wall or something, just to create that sense of "okay this guy is not just woke up in his bedroom and decided to do a video" (even though youre not in a bedroom, but thats just to illustrate my point better). For instance in this particular video you are standing in a room, near a window with a curtain and it looks like its just a living room, but your clothing looks more official, like you could almost go with these clothes to an office or a business meeting. This creates a dissonance, because the background is casual, but you look professional. 4. Perhaps a shorter more value dense video with things that target audience trully care for as well as very clearly structured findings, tips, info could also help. I think people are looking for very quick info, they don't really spend 18 mins on the video and if they do, they make sure it's worth it first, and because this channel is so young, many people don't really know if you have a lot of value to offer in this 18 minutes video, so they might not even risk it. There is a lot of my assumptions though, perhaps I am wrong on some of the things, but I just thought I would share my thoughts, perhaps you will find them meaningful and I wish you all the the best.
Thank you for a outlining your thoughts for me! Great advice here. I like your ideas. I'll think if I want to increase the dissonance between me and surroundings :) It may be the opposite of your advice, but I like my odds better this way.
00:06 yep, me too 😂😂😂
