My buddy just build a RV6 and just put in a bunch of Dynon stuff in the panel thanks to this channel. Love the RV10s tons of power to spare. The best of luck charlie. Thanks for letting us fly along
Im looking at both an RV10 and RV14 currently. I flew my Cessna for two decades as I saved to build myself a Vans instead of incremental upgrades. Im ordering it very soon, the pandemic slowed the purchase, but since I have no kids, im considering the RV14. But it's not set in stone. Im going to test fly both the first week of May, before I make my decision (the flight community is amazing like that). I already have a full hangar for the build, and my friend (who is an airbrush artist), is going to paint it in exchange for selling him my 150B for half price (10k$ cdn, plus a full paintjob in a burnt orange and black). Starting to get hyped because I can't wait to fly both and order one (though im expecting to order the 14, ive just been admiring it since the day they showed the first one.
Great video. I have a couple of buddies who have RV's. Great planes and more then half less then a cirrus. Thanks for sharing and i agree with a lot of people.. Love the channel.
You’d think by now that Van’s newly hired engineers would have put out a SB to fix the torsion rod main gear shimmy problem. I need to fix my 45 kt shaking wet dog too. Before our big wheel pants break off on the runway. I think a lot of it has to do with triggers from either my 3/8” out-of-round, original tires from Van’s or runway rough spots. Other than that, we still love ours after 9 yrs in the air.
The kids are already bugging me to see this video. LOL Great job guys. and like always love the channel. I am thinking about driving the 2hrs for the bbq. Great idea pilotfun101 you truly inspire others and your love for GA. Keep it up.
I'd love to have an RV10, but not getting any younger. I would rather fly than build. Looks like buying a Mooney is the better option for me at this stage. Envious of that dual Dynon setup in your Mooney.
Ok, ok... you all convinced me to have the plane available to look at during the BBQ at MGJ. It’s ugly right now because there is no paint, but I’ll make it available for everyone to check out :)
RV 10 what a beautiful plane 😍😍😍. That one is definitely on the top of the list. I love this channel brother. Thanks for the video and like always, keep ‘em coming. Hopefully I’ll see ya at MGJ ...... BBQ time. 😂🇺🇸
When you said you had 3000 feet for landing you forgot to extract the 600 feet of displacement. Probably not a big deal for a small aircraft but for a high performance corporate aircraft it could put you in the weeds. Good video and a very nice RV10. I’m interested in the RV15 because I like to haul a mountain bike and my dog with me.
Thats me at 32:10 in the lance! haha
Saw you get off the runway in front of me but didn't recognize you outside of your mooney.

That is awesome!
Love it Love it and Love it. Love this channel, love RVs, and love aviation. We truly are family like pilotfun101 says all the time.
Thanks

Awesome pal!
Thanks!
Great job Charlie!
Congrats Charlie. Job well done. Great video as always. Keep GA moving forward!
Thanks so much!

Robert Michell I’d say as equipped 75% less than a cirrus... and just as fast :)
Thanks for watching!
Always loved RV's And most always have the shimmy :( Good luck! That will last you forever. Thanks for sharing guys
Our pleasure!
Awesome video! Missed the RV at the BBQ. I was told its our for paint. Cant wait to see it all finished. You guys need to do another video.

Thank you sir! It all starts with GA
great video. Love the RV, did he do a build log that is available? Again another great video. Still think I am partial to the Dynon.
John Howell Thank you! Yes. He has everything.
I use to fly there all the time. I'd love to check out your rv10 sometime.

Awesome! Thanks :)
Awesome landing and excellent non-towered procedures. That Bonanza dude oughta pay attention.

Thank you! Ill be there. I kinda have to be I guess. LOL

did you consider the Veloce-400 or the Tango Foxtrot-4? These composite kits look fast but much less prolific. I am wondering if they have issues?
Nice video. Only request is to have a hand camera when he was talking about the dynon operations.
The starboard wheel cover went crazy on that landing. Rewatching, it was both but port might have been worse for the back and forth shimmy.
Skren Thanks. Since the video he got the vibration way down.
Love the RV-10, how did you score sponsorship from Bose?
So in all of this you do not show such a fine plane from the outside or a tour looking inside?
Soon 👍
you could get away with a gem engine monitor, six steam gauges and a garmin 430 , a real luxury would be a autopilot with altitude preselect😃
Id take this over a sr22
