@ yeah! You just take about a spoon full of cornstarch ( not leveled) and you mix it with how ever much paint you want , and you keep adding the cornstarch till you get it to the desired consistency/texture
I definitely recommended painting the background first, even just adding a few layers of white looks better than the pre gessoed canvas. Also using heavy body acylics with the medium will help to keep the thick texture better and it will allow you to use less paint to get the same amount of pigment, althought they are more expensive than craft paints the result is much better
So early 2000s/Mean Girls esque aesthetic going on here with that art piece and I LOVE IT! I usually hate these "trendy art pieces" but this has originality unlike other people just painting splatters all over a canvas without any heart put into it and calling it "art". I hope this kicks off in popularity because I love the additon of the charms and little dainty strands of beads!

Another way is to mix cornstarch and your paint to get that thick look and texture ! But supper cute!
Can you share the recipe, please?

It looks really cute 🥰
thank you! 💜💜
I love it!
I think doing a background color, like a light sage green, would make it feel more finished👍🏼
That is really cute!! 💞🎄
aw thanks! 🫶🏻💕🎄

You could paint a little tree skirt so that the trunk feels more balanced

It actually looks really cute , kinda wanna see this like a real tree with that decoration 💖
Corn starch is less grainy and works well to thicken paint

How pretty! Also, IS THAT AN ELOISE PLUSH?? 😭💖

That's so cute
Maybe you should try a dark to light gradient next? Just add blobs of white paint into your darkest colour until it’s all light!
I think it would be cute if you made a Altoids wallet into a sewing kit❤
If you do it again try having the trunk a little thinner and in a completely different colour
So cute. Did you see that The Spoonie Stitcher tagged you in a recent video?
aw thanks! I did not see that - was it on TH-cam or somewhere else? (and was it good or bad lol)
@@MeganWeller th-cam.com/video/lEx5cyk_zeo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Se3wJMVBIxvDBHoB This one. It was good. :)
Have u tried corn starch, very smooth dries very matte
I think its cute as. Only thing i would say is it needs more of a tip. But thats my preference.
Beautiful
Should’ve made the trunk green otherwise it looks good
the Eloise plushie tho?? 😍
How long does it take to dry?
I had this on repeat for like 2 hours cus I left my iPad on and left my room😭😭
Nostalgia
Thought that pinecone charm was a grenade for a second
❤ looks good, its not the trunk, its the No Point at the top, looks like "it" from the addams family all dressed up to go on a blind date.

You’ve heard of decoden altoids wallet, now get ready for… A Very Decoden Christmas!
Eloise!
You don't need the glue
I think you needed a bigger canvas, the tree looks too small for the canvas
omg first five to comment!!
🎉💜
Idk where you live, but I'd be scared someone would mix up the coment bleach powder with my baking soda if it came in that can.
Comet cleaner*
If anyone would mix those two up, then they have no business using either one🤷♀️
Oofff
That's hideous
:/
both are ugly
