A presentation followed by landing a fish is always a good one ;-) Thanks for sharing Jaap. With regard to mending. I personally like to use aerial mend, before the line lands on the water. If I really want to sink my fly deep the I don't let the whole shooting line out during the forward cast and keep approximately 3 meters spare line which I release no sooner then my rig lands on the water - I prefer that technique rather then making a step or two downstream. PS. You live in paradise having all that great water at your door steps. All the best and looking forward to watching more !!
Hi Janusz! Thanks! Those are two good points that I didn't show in this video. I do those at times as well. Will have to show them in one of the next vids :-)
Really nice to watch. Makes me want to fight a fish now. Beautiful scenery and gorgeous king.😊

Rod size? Line weight and flys used?
15' #10 Flies: KIng's Candy and Silver SRL Prom Dress.
What weight sink tip do you use?
It varies a bit, depending on the depth and current speed. But usually 15' of T14 is a good starting point.
Kitimat river ?
