    A presentation followed by landing a fish is always a good one ;-) Thanks for sharing Jaap. With regard to mending. I personally like to use aerial mend, before the line lands on the water. If I really want to sink my fly deep the I don't let the whole shooting line out during the forward cast and keep approximately 3 meters spare line which I release no sooner then my rig lands on the water - I prefer that technique rather then making a step or two downstream. PS. You live in paradise having all that great water at your door steps. All the best and looking forward to watching more !!

    Je regarde toutes vos videos , j'habite en france , on as tres peu de saumons chez nous maintenant, sur ma riviere L'Allier qui est fermé pour le saumon , il remonte 100 saumons par an , en 1900 il en remontaient 40000 , vous avez vraiment de la chance de pecher cette belle riviere , je vous envie . profiter , votre lancer est vraiment efficace pour que votre mouche peche profondement , Amitié d'un vieux pecheur decouragé. gerard.

    What weight sink tip do you use?

      It varies a bit, depending on the depth and current speed. But usually 15' of T14 is a good starting point.
