Damn, my first time completing the cube without any automatic solver on a website or sth. It took me 3 hours, but it was worth it! I already remembered how to do the cross, corners and middle layers, all i have to know now is the top layer and the yellow situations. Thanks man! Noah Richardson on the last scenario with the pieces being counter clockwise, I done the clockwise method twice and it worked. Don't know if it was dumb luck or what though.
Patrick NO you were right. This did used to be a smart person thing. The only reason dumbasses like you and I can solve it is because someone showed us step by step instructions!! Which I had to go over more times than I'd admit.
As it is stated in all the other comments, this video works, is easy to understand, and is step by step (any scenario) to the big solve. And it feels SOOO good to reach the end! Thank you for this.

This tutorial was very helpful, and I hope everyone else thinks so as well. Also, if your cube didn't fit in a certain scenario, just scroll the comments as I did, and do what they say, because, of course, you can always rewatch the video if you get lost somewhere.
I noticed more toward the end of the video, you were using opposite and adjacent notations involving the middle layer. When a notation is written as U2, this means the upper layer is rotated clockwise twice, correct? If, correct, would not M2 also mean that the middle layer is rotated clockwise twice? And, when the notation M' is used, this means the middle layer is rotated counter clockwise once, correct? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I observed you rotating the middle layer in the same direction for both notations. It has me a bit confused as to the meaning of the notations. Could you clarify?

This is by far the best video on how to complete a Rubicks cube. You actually explain why you make the moves, not just R1,d,L1..... It's all explained and shown at a nice tempo. You made this fun! I've watched all the other videos , especially the ones where they tell u to just do certain moves and it will always solved the cube which I'm pretty sure is not true. And they always try to do it fast. You can teach a 40 year old or a 5 year old from this video. I can't tell you enough how good it is.keep u the great work. Adamantit TNT i think that the biggest reason ppl have a hard time following the steps is they accidentally twist the wrong way when doing a move corresponding to the letters... I did it many, many times! that's why practicing each move (corresponding to their letter) before trying to solve it is imperative in my opinion and even then I still have slip ups! The only other advice I can give you is.. don't give up, keep trying and you'll get it eventually!! Good Luck😉🍀
Tiffabeans the best way to not turn it the wrong way is take it slow, look a the side your turning and visualize it going clockwise I did this by moving my pointer finger clockwise once you do this it will be easy to tell what side you have to turn it then once you make the turn go back to the face you started in. Also following the guy in the video is very useful, slow the video down if you have to through TH-cam’s settings.

This tutorial was very helpful, and I hope everyone else thinks so as well. Also, if your cube didn't fit in a certain scenario, just scroll the comments as I did, and do what they say, because, of course, you can always rewatch the video if you get lost somewhere.

I noticed more toward the end of the video, you were using opposite and adjacent notations involving the middle layer.
When a notation is written as U2, this means the upper layer is rotated clockwise twice, correct? If, correct, would not M2 also mean that the middle layer is rotated clockwise twice? And, when the notation M' is used, this means the middle layer is rotated counter clockwise once, correct? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I observed you rotating the middle layer in the same direction for both notations. It has me a bit confused as to the meaning of the notations. Could you clarify?
Rotating a layer clockwise twice is rotating it 180 degrees, so it's no different from rotating it counter-clockwise twice
Also, the algorithm actually works with both M and M'

Alan Doty Middle is nit an official notation because of this problem, so most people use two notations of U' D' or L R. It's really confusing.
The extension of the famous Singmaster notation.

This is by far the best video on how to complete a Rubicks cube. You actually explain why you make the moves, not just R1,d,L1..... It's all explained and shown at a nice tempo. You made this fun! I've watched all the other videos , especially the ones where they tell u to just do certain moves and it will always solved the cube which I'm pretty sure is not true. And they always try to do it fast. You can teach a 40 year old or a 5 year old from this video. I can't tell you enough how good it is.keep u the great work. i think that the biggest reason ppl have a hard time following the steps is they accidentally twist the wrong way when doing a move corresponding to the letters...
I did it many, many times! that's why practicing each move (corresponding to their letter) before trying to solve it is imperative in my opinion and even then I still have slip ups!
The only other advice I can give you is.. don't give up, keep trying and you'll get it eventually!!

Tiffabeans the best way to not turn it the wrong way is take it slow, look a the side your turning and visualize it going clockwise I did this by moving my pointer finger clockwise once you do this it will be easy to tell what side you have to turn it then once you make the turn go back to the face you started in. Also following the guy in the video is very useful, slow the video down if you have to through TH-cam’s settings.
