Paradise was written by Jinyoung ! It was supposed to be the title track for flight log - arrival but last minute JYPE changed it to never ever which is JYP produced. I remember they were even hitting paradise on v live. This song is to this day such a banger I believe It could’ve been huge if promoted as a title. The full song with all the members is even more incredible
This "Prove it" performance is a great example of the vocal range that GOT7 has. You have Jinyoung going so high in his falsetto that he's almost high pitch whispering, you have Youngjae doing the power vocals but also singing in his full middle register, you have JayB singing in that beautiful tone and him also doing the falsettos while harmonizing and Mark going so low in his rap tone. They are ridiculous for this! This is why I love the whole GOT the Stage / GOT7 Studio playlist. We get these outstandingly amazing live performances and all the songs in this playlist was either written and composed by a member or had member participation in it. Fun fact: "Paradise" also has Bambam in the song credits. I believe he wrote the rap. Paradise is a such a vibe. The instrumental in the start is unique. I'm not sure what instrument that was but I love it. I love the choreo in this video plus you can see how much fun they're having while performing which makes it even more enjoyable to the viewer. Can I make a suggestion: Each of the GOT7 Studio / GOT the stage has all the members singing on the album version. Maybe you can react to a lyric video after the performance video, to get the full feel of the song with all the members.
I totally agree, Jinyoung's range is so commendable, seeing that he had started off as a rapper and now has literally become one of the most stable and beautiful vocals of the industry, his falsetto is so clean and his middle tone is so full of emotions. He's like the rock of the group, he balances everyone out and stays so stable throughout, he's really an ace.
Mark’s low note as subvocal is also so good. He can even do high notes. We can barely notice on recorded songs but during live performance(especially japanese songs), his voice as subvocal mixes well with the other members.
