Scentsy need to have a serious rethink about their choice of server / webpage provider. This is not the first time this has happened and I just don’t have the patience for it anymore. You said it PERFECTLY, lack of preparedness and nothing to write home about for those of us who are not new customers. I am a consultant for myself only and have a great director that supports that, but I feel for people making a living from it. Flash sales are meant to really drive their business and with 80,000 people wanting to shop demand is there but Scentsy are not making it easy for them! Thanks for sharing as always! ❤
Absolutely agree. I also don't know if I believe the 80K people waiting to shop the sale. I'm sure it's thousands and thousands but that was embarrassing. I do feel for the consultants that are doing this for a living as well. It seems the only ones winning are the directors at the top of the food chain.
I completely agree! Scentsy is a multimillion dollar company, so there is really no excuse for them not to have the best I.T. website and service provider. They should have, at the very least, let their customers know that the sale would be postponed, but instead, people sat there and waited.
I had most of the same flash sale issues as others. The adding, adding, adding was the worst. I was patient though and didn't refresh. I checked out early because of the slowness. I didn't want things to jump out of my cart. I ended up going right back in and had the same issues. The real bummer for me was I was charged full price for everything-my entire cart. I checked out anyway because I wanted the stuff. Scentsy is working on crediting people back. I'm owed $160 to $200! They said 3 to 5 days, which I don't think is acceptable in this day and age of electronic transfers, but there's nothing I can do about it. I did get the mystery bundle of bars. At $1.60/bar I couldn't pass it up. I sure hope there are at least a couple scents that wow me!!
Hey Martha! I also had troubles during the sale but I did stick through it and I’ll say the January 2023 sale was the last good Scentsy Sale in my opinion but this one seemed to be better than the last few. It didn’t have a large enough selection by any means but some of the deals were shocking. I thought they had a great deal on the Pink Awareness bars and the 10 bar mystery bundle. It wasn’t worth the crazy hassle though. I’m happy to say I picked up the Seashore warmer and a Coral Waters Washer Whiffs tub. Thanks for sharing your experience!!
January 2023 was a fantastic sale. I guess we have been spoiled. I hope you get great bars in the mystery bundle. I tried to order that too but got too frustrated with it and bailed on my whole cart

Yes, they are great for trips to places where it's hot and high humidity. I will probably pack them for my trip in less than a month. It was on, then off, back on again. Hopefully Switzerland won't be that hot but it was when I was there in 2019

I even heard some people were being charged full price with a promise of reimbursement later 😮 I hope the next sale goes more smoothly! I agree the selection wasn’t great and they should acknowledge all the issues.
It was great if you wanted scent circles and warmers. There last few sales have had issues. I hope they can redeem themselves in the future and fix the glitches
I love a-peeling apple, no clue why they did not bring that one back. We love light side and dark side of the force. I agree really like Scentsy hand soap. I got to the flash sale party late, I did end up getting some cleaning products and the tigers eye pumpkin because I love pumpkins, but this flash sale was a bit of a s*#% show.
I love the tiger's eye pumpkin warmer. It was the first Scentsy warmer I purchased in 2022. They did have great deal on warmers. Too bad it was a shit show
My Bar count, despite my previous thoughts about trying to keep it from going over a limit, has gotten embarrassingly larger this spring. Great job refraining. ;) That being said, I did shop the flash sale. I did buy a few bars…but I also had a 6 bar bundle I had picked the day before so I could try Black Raspberry Sangria. So then I just added some discounted bars and pods to that order. I was in line later when they said “more than an hour” wait….but I didn’t mind just waiting around with my phone on while I did my chores at home. Then I got in and shopped and it was fine from there. They also shipped my order and my mom’s fast and we should get them tomorrow! If I didn’t want the other 6 bars, I wouldn’t have ended up purchasing the few I found, though. I do feel like the selection has been less lately. But I’m glad they aren’t doing them as often as they did for a while. That was crazy for me. Last note….Magic in Every Wish is a top bar for me! But just like you, I don’t want to have licensed bars in my club anymore….so when it came back I bought a 6 pack and took it out of my club for good. I’ll very much enjoy every single bar, but that price hike does not make me want to keep them in my club!
I may do the same because I do like the scent of the Wish bar and don’t want to keep it in my club. I’m glad you didn’t have any issues. I missed out on a few I wanted like more Crème de Menthe. At the end of the day I don’t “need” any more bars so I guess it was meant to be. I just wish Scentsy would be more transparent and apologize for people experiencing a lot of issues. Not saying anything gives the impression that they don’t care or are in denial.
The queue system is a joke. I logged in about 5 minutes before the sale. I got in the queue and it said an hour wait. I got down to 12 minutes and then it jumped back up to 38 minutes and then it jumped to an hour again. I decided to open a second window about 45 to 50 minutes after I had been sitting in the queue and I ended up getting in to the sale quicker in that second window than I did on the first window that I had been sitting in for an hour. That just proves that someone can log in much later than me and jump in the queue ahead of me. Mostly everything I wanted was gone by the time I got in. I don't know if I will bother with Flash sales anymore. I wish they would just throw items in clearance and I will just check daily whats in there.
Hi Martha, I had the same thing happen to me. I got in within 12 minutes and then adding, adding just like you said and checkout took forever and then as usual things were selling out, so out of cart it goes. They really need to work on their site before the next flash sale. I think I will love the eye mask, I have puffy eyes sometimes and I plan to put it in the refrigerator/freezer to use for that. I will try putting the eye mask in the fridge. That would feel real nice. I'm sorry you had the same experience. What aggravates me more is zero acknowledgement that there were issues from the company itself. I don't see anything in my workstation or on their Facebook page (unless I missed it)
My husband is a huge star wars fan and I got roped into watching some of the movies. We went to Disney world (FL) for my birthday this year. Yeah it was really more for him than for me haha

I really liked this months whiff box!!! I threw 2 of the star wars scents in a club to try later. I don't want to pay $7 a bar LOL Agree, the Fathers day collection was a bit different and very good! I LOVE Black Tie Affair!! Yes, it is light in the clam but warmed it was great! I did not pick up white grapefruit or the vetiver. The mint is exactly why I didn't get the Hoth Winter, glad to see your sniff of this to verify that. I didn't like Jammin Jubilee either......VERY sweet!
I set an alarm on my phone for the sale so I would not forget to go in and I think I was in the queue for 15 or 20 mins and then a sign popped up „having technical issues“ and kicked me out. I didn’t go back in until after work and had thrown a few bars in my cart and ended up deleting my cart because I was aggravated .Sometimes if they have one of the bars I have in my Club I will stock up and remove the bar from my club. That didn’t happen this time😂 I don’t normally get the whiff box but I did this time since I will use all those items. This looks like a nice box. Mine just shipped yesterday.
It was not a fun experience at all. I have so many bars that it was nice to get this whiff box and try some new things. I know sometimes the content of the whiff box may change. I hope you get the same one. Thanks for watching!
You're struggle for the word smashed is how I feel at the end of the work day. 🤣🤣NOt a butt wipe. OMG you're killing me today! 😂😂 I use to send my friend body wipes when he was stationed in Afghanistan, and he said they were nice to have there, for sure. UGH! I didn't get anything. I was in a meeting too. The only thing I wanted was the Night Divine warmer, and it sold out. I hope it'll pop up in another sale.
I got a good amount! I had two different browsers open. Chrome and Safari. And my chrome got in at 4 minutes. But checking out was a nightmare. I did lose a couple of bars. I wish there were more bars. It seems that other flash sales were better. I did grab some warmers for really cheap.
A peeling Apple is one of my favorite apple scents...it's in my club. I like Scentsy's apple scent more than I do vendor wax apple. I think vendors use a lot of mac apple and I'm not a fan of that lol.
This was the most stressful, frustrating flash sale I’ve ever endured it was glitchy, it took forever to get the system to do anything, everything kept falling out of my cart even though they were still available. I finally managed to get through and got two of those summer bundles, a warmer, a body cream and a couple of random bars, but check out was painful, and I wasn’t sure it was ever going to go through. It felt like the olden days when we had to do dial up Internet, lol.. if they can’t get the system to handle these types of sales, maybe they should just put everything in clearance and just let us shop that way
I saw crème de menthe & thought about you. I got myself 2 of the BCA bundles because I melt them in honor of my precious friend Dusty. Got a few pumpkin cashmere scent circles & a bag of soak. But I waited over an hour to get in. I did have a customer get some pet supplies without an issue
It was very strange how it went fine for some but not others. I wanted to get a few Creme de Menthe but it wasn't worth the headache for me. I have to remember to bring some of my Scentsy soak for my next trip. I only take baths when I travel and the hotel has a nice tub 😀
The flash sale was a mess. I started refreshing at 1:52 CT and was admitted to the cue at 1:56. I then waited 45 minutes to get in. It was so slow, like you said, and then kept giving system error messages during checkout. I had to retry checkout 4 times and I lost items. To top it off, my consultant totally negated any frustration I had by giving me the “there were over 80,000 people in the cue!” 😒 I hope the figure it out. I did end up checking out, but ugh, that was annoying.
Telling us there are 80K people waiting doesn't make up for the fact that they were ill prepared. I don't even know if the 80K is real. An apology would have gone over better than we had too many people wanting to shop the sale.
Flash sale was stressful for me too It started at the time I’m leaving to pick up my kids from school, I waited the longest I’ve ever waited in a queue before -45 minutes I got some good deals but it was so glitchy and frustrating. 😒
The flash sale was a mess, glitchy, slow and people must have got fed up and empty their cart. I almost did but did end up with a few things some didnt make it in my cart. Maybe so many people deleted their carts that shipping is much quicker than anticipated as mine already shipped.
I wonder what happened because one of my friends was able to go back in hours later a get a few things it’s also shipped. I’ve never seen shipping so fast after a Flash Sale. I have yet to see any kind of acknowledgment of how bad the technical issues were.
Starburst Sky is a dupe for BR 540. I did not get the ashtray note on the fresh bars, only after I had one curing for about 8 months. I should grab another one to see but then again I have BR540 dupes from vendors so I don't need it.
I got four apple and cinnamon sticks fragrance flowers and the assend diffuser shade. I wasn’t able to get it and when I did I got an error message. I ended up getting a friend of mine to order for me

I couldn’t even see what was in the sale she did a screen record to show me and when she checked out she tried multiple times finally it went threw and she got charged three times for her purchase …. It was a mess. I was looking for that shade though and that’s all I cared about. Next flash sale I won’t even be trying to go on. It’s sad how my website didn’t work but hers did

I personally don't think this flash sale had anything good. It was basically the clearance section marked down with scent circles and a few crappy bar bundles. Lol 😂 I got one warmer. That was the only good thing (a few nice warmers for a great price) ,.....but I could have lived without the flash sale. There are no excuses for all the problems scentsy has had. They are a multimillion dollar company and its time for them to invest in a better server and better customer service!! So many people waitied the first time the site crashed and didn't know it was postponed. Only consultants knew it was postponed. Scentsy should have posted that notice directly on the site with an apology.
I don't like that they only communicate to high level directors. They should be messaging the general public that they need to postpone or to apologize for the technical difficulties, but they just ignore it. Unless you were only interested in scent circles and warmers it wasn't a great sale and it was a terrible experience. I guess I should be grateful that they saved me money but keeping it in my wallet

Pacific Mist is soooo good… in my opinion of course! That and Make a Splash are the only 2 fresh scents I repeatedly warm.

I would agree. Mac apple takes over a scent. I don't mind red apple or even green apple as long as it's not a candied green apple.

Telling us there are 80K people waiting doesn't make up for the fact that they were ill prepared. I don't even know if the 80K is real. An apology would have gone over better than we had too many people wanting to shop the sale.
Flash sale was stressful for me too
It started at the time I’m leaving to pick up my kids from school, I waited the longest I’ve ever waited in a queue before -45 minutes
I got some good deals but it was so glitchy and frustrating. 😒
I was tempted with a few bars and the mystery bundle. In the end I'm glad I didn't get any. It's not like I need more wax 😂
The flash sale was a mess, glitchy, slow and people must have got fed up and empty their cart. I almost did but did end up with a few things some didnt make it in my cart. Maybe so many people deleted their carts that shipping is much quicker than anticipated as mine already shipped.
I wonder what happened because one of my friends was able to go back in hours later a get a few things it’s also shipped. I’ve never seen shipping so fast after a Flash Sale. I have yet to see any kind of acknowledgment of how bad the technical issues were.
The flash show was a total shit show....I did end up going in after a few hours and got a few things.....soooo not worth the damn headache!

Do you get ashtray scent from Br540 dupes? Is that what Starburst sky is duping?
Starburst Sky is a dupe for BR 540. I did not get the ashtray note on the fresh bars, only after I had one curing for about 8 months. I should grab another one to see but then again I have BR540 dupes from vendors so I don't need it.
I’m bummed there’s a maple syrup note in the jubilee bar. I’m not typically a fan of that 😕
Me too. Anything to sickly sweet like a syrup starts to get a burned sugar note that I don't care for.

I got four apple and cinnamon sticks fragrance flowers and the assend diffuser shade. I wasn’t able to get it and when I did I got an error message. I ended up getting a friend of mine to order for me

I couldn’t even see what was in the sale she did a screen record to show me and when she checked out she tried multiple times finally it went threw and she got charged three times for her purchase …. It was a mess. I was looking for that shade though and that’s all I cared about. Next flash sale I won’t even be trying to go on. It’s sad how my website didn’t work but hers did

I personally don't think this flash sale had anything good. It was basically the clearance section marked down with scent circles and a few crappy bar bundles. Lol 😂 I got one warmer. That was the only good thing (a few nice warmers for a great price) ,.....but I could have lived without the flash sale.
There are no excuses for all the problems scentsy has had. They are a multimillion dollar company and its time for them to invest in a better server and better customer service!! So many people waitied the first time the site crashed and didn't know it was postponed. Only consultants knew it was postponed. Scentsy should have posted that notice directly on the site with an apology.
I don't like that they only communicate to high level directors. They should be messaging the general public that they need to postpone or to apologize for the technical difficulties, but they just ignore it. Unless you were only interested in scent circles and warmers it wasn't a great sale and it was a terrible experience. I guess I should be grateful that they saved me money but keeping it in my wallet
