Recently got this on sale with some DLC including some new areas, which I think were behind the 'walls' you mentioned. Still in the early part of the tutorial mission (which is actually much more story driven), and I am really enjoying it. The world kind of reminds me of Tyranny (Iron Age fantasy RPG), and the heavy focus on text-based interactions and story delivery is very reminiscent of Roadwarden.
I just did the 4 corner quest from the old vagrus with 3 eyes (like a salubri cainite) and realised those were mostly the edges of the map. Til they do their dlc to open areas in the north n south. Be safe. Mabuhay!
Yeah that quest also showed me the boundaries. It will be interesting to see how the expanded territories interact with the base game. Like are there going to be trade routes down there, with new factions?
LOVE THE GAME i have spend 100s of hour into this and am still finding new things in different corner of map cant wait for the new expansion dlc coming in q3 of 2023
Great review! I'm not big into these kinds of game where a lot of reading is involved, However I was Darksun fan back in 2nd edition D&D, so the setting for this game is really appealing to me. I've also played Kenshi which also has a cruel and unusual difficulty. So maybe I should try Vagrus.
at first, when saw some screenshot, i think this game is something like roguelike mercenary game (like battle brothers), but after watched your vid, i realize it not for me. too much non combat micro management and excel-table trading thing 😔 well at least the location artwork is really good thanks for the video
Glad I looked up a review before actually buying it. It’s not expensive but I’d rather save my money for other games. I was interested in a text based game but the whole darkest dungeon thing kinda tuned me away. Not a fan of that kinda gameplay.
Game is punishing to the extreme. No matter how I played, realised that making money is just too difficult cause the profit made does not cover the supplies costs. Likely to uninstall and only visit after a year. Dev really need to get their acts right on this game

Just finishing with the tutorial, was wondering what folk think about the game proper and you did a grand job!
Thanks. I barely made it through the tutorial, there were so many mechanics thrown at you so quickly.

I'm a big fan of Kenshi too. I think in general the desert wasteland setting is really cool. Thanks for the comment :)
You captured my sentiments. I loved it but left annoyed as the game fizzled out - leaving me with mixed emotions.
Thanks for the comment. Yeah there is so much potential that they didn't use.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, the management side of the game can be quite overwhelming.

you're definitely losing on this one. the game is a gem
Have you tried caravaneer 2? Seems up your alley and seems to address your biggest complaints about this game
Combat needs an overhaul. Its the only major flaw.
Agreed! Everything else is great.
Thanks!
Thought of buying the game, but after you're overview decided not to.
DUDE! your quality just gets better. Keep it up :>
Everything seemed visually appealing for an indie game until you showed the combat. Thanks for the review!
Yea, its still a well made game story wise. I think the combat visuals is all they could have afforded with their limited studio.
Good review Admiralty!
Glad you liked it!
great review. stumbled upon your channel. keep it up!
Thanks for the comment man :)
This was great!
Great review !
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.

Interesting response. It is really hard to get the hang of the trading, but once you do you can really excel. I'd recommend a starters guide.
Terrible design.
Segue, not segway
