Matt realised he had the same score as Tyler and guessed they must have made near enough the same bridge, so pulled up the lowest joint to trim a few dollars, in the exact same way as Tyler just did

I actually love this poly bridge series, the fact that you've taken it, made it harder with half budget, and decided to take intermissions for funny competitions and stuff like this. PB 1 and 2 were good but actually loving this

I voted to see the low budget on some of the later levels, but I also think it'd be a cool new challenge to watch you go for the lowest stress leader board.

Nah. Tyler is probably more like a rocket scientist. Lol. We have all seen how simple problems with simple solutions trip him up whereas problems with more complicated solutions seem to come easily for him.

While he is a mathematician, I have seen him utilize math in clever ways one or two times to solve a puzzle, I feel like Puzzlemaster is the perfect Tyler name.
@@aguyontheinternet8436no offense to tyler, but calling him a mathematician is a massive stretch. He does sometimes think a bit like a mathematician, and he is certainly a very smart guy but he simply really isn't a mathematician. Just a regular guy who's decent at highschool level math.
Mathematician is basically the polar opposite to architect, all logic, insufficient practical theory.

I love this type of video, I'd love to see more videos about beating out rivals on levels. Could also be cool to do races on new custom levels vs Real Civil Engineer (have a map made for you two specifically)

Matt did use a different design. If all 3 vehicles go at once, it makes the bridge require more support but they can all reach the flags without hydraulic and before the ship hits the bridge
What did Bort Jenkins do? He crushed the previous number one score by almost half.
My guess is a banana bridge with the hydraulic to dip below the boat during the hydraulic phase and then come above waterline for when the cars cross.
Still, 16K is mega cheap and doesn't rule out a shenanigan such as a tow truck bridge or hydraulic canon contraption which even then would still confuse me if something like that would even be cheaper than Aleinsrock's current design involving the small hydraulic.
