    Mr.Camarata can work for me anytime. Always amazed at how he makes labor intensive work seem so easy. Watching his many videos demonstrates his versatility and that he's mainly a one man show. A jack of all trades and equipment handling and a mechanic too. Displays good planning, skills and smarts when approaching his work. An intelligent businessman who realizes that having all various equipment creates a demand for his services which he apparently takes pride in and enhances his bottom line. For anyone thinking they know it all and I’m the first to say I don’t but leave him to run his business if he goes broke he does no in the comments on his videos is going to likely prevent that happening but as the same token he may not go broke. The reason you don’t smoke at a gas station isn’t because of the liquid gas, it’s because of the gas fumes that are in the air in and around your gas tank and the gas pump. I noticed several times rocks kicking out over the cutting edge when the screener is rolling. Around 18:10 you can see a large, flat rock kick out. There are also instances when you are preparing the lawn where this happens. Not sure if it's something that can be improved. Definitely, a great tool in any case, especially as your goal wasn't a baseball field like surface. Thank you for the quality videos.

    I believe your stationery vibrating screen has too much of an angle! You're losing a lot of dirt in your rock pile. Maby 1/2 that angle, vibration should take care of the rest. Keep up the good work!

    • @drewdaskievige754
      @drewdaskievige754 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I thought the same, or maybe adding some diagonal pieces of angle iron along the bottom with the screen extending a little further down

    That looked like a brand new screener. I just priced that thing on Amazon and it was like $16.5K and another $643 for shipping. Hope you have plenty of projects to offset the cost. But it is definitely a sweet piece of equipment. Anything that eliminates extra steps is a winner every time. If you have spaces on your property you want to level out and stockpile the topsoil and then separate the rock to another pile to use in areas you want to fill in or use for roadbed fill.

    by the way, poiring the mixture from higher up on the large screen would increase yield. You could do this by approaching it from a different angle.

    • @kadmow
      @kadmow 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tipping it from the top-end straight-on would also reduce the need for putting it over the screen 3 times - less fines would make it to the tail end. (a hopper/restrictor at the top end would also slow the rate down. (Most of those tailings need at least another screening maybe 2 - too many fines in the rubble)....

    F-ing AMAZING !! As a teen our family bought a new house on an un-landscaped raw sand and rock lot. My Dad and I pick-axed and shoveled in to a screed all by hand ALL for the entire lot. This machine could have taken a day or two. For us a couple hr. nearly every night and more on weekends maybe a year. We built rock retainging walls with some of the dug up rocks. We had 3 1/2 cu. yards of rocks away by dump truck.
