Hello, some models have incorrect orientation and scale. So we separate this features to make possible working in AE coordinates. it is more convenient just believe me.
Sooo sick. I'm trying this out on a .ply Gaussian splatting file exported from Polycam and hitting an error with the plugin - Failed to load model with error: "File doesn't contain gaussian splats. Unexpected property nz and not scale_0 before scale_1". Any ideas ?
The plugin is super interesting but if there is no possibility of adjusting the light model by model and being able to mix more than 5 models. it's of no interest. Do you have any updates available for quick use?

We are currently working on a project and would like to use this technique for cinematographic plans, but we need to be able to adjust brightness and color grading between each model and, most importantly, to assemble more than five models afterwards. Hello, we have a plan to add a special rendering mode Matte Object. It will allow you to build a complex scene and divide it into a few layers. In each layer only one model will be visible. Other models will be in matte mode. It means you can color correct models independently with AE filters. And all models will be in the same 3D space. We can increase model count. Will 10 be enough?

The more models we can have, the better. If you can include 20 or even 30 models, that would be even better. How much time do you need to make this update? When you installed you already copied the files. gaussianSpalatting.aex and Plylmport.aex to forder C:Program Files >adobe>Common>pugins> 7.0 > mediacore Once you've done that you can import the ply file. ช
I get error: file doesn't contain gaussian splats. Must be only one element with name "vertex but have "chunk", "vertex". I am using ply files exported from supersplat editor.

@@irrealix our company purchased the plugin. we tried to use Gaussian splatting by tracking it to use it as a 3D element on an existing video. we cannot correctly fix an object on a specific location, is this due to the fact that the plugin is not made for this or is it due to the gossian file which has an alignment problem in its manufacture or is there a precise method? do you possibly have a tutorial for this? THANKS.

you can combine effects: noise, opacity and scale splat to reveal and hide objects.

sure you can do. Track camera then Align GS model as you do with Element3D. You can create a null object with single click to move it in scene.
