Thanks a lot for your efforts.. Quick question please.. Could I turn this into a colored smoke... And if so.. How would you approach that... Could I just connect the final cash to another dopnetwork.. And treat it as a smoke object... Would that work? Or maybe turn it into a volume? Thanks again
Great tutorials . Extremely helpful stuff . If it isn't too much trouble may I suggest increasing Global UI scale by 10% as it can be sometimes harder to see due to youtube compression .(e.g. as I was following the BOIDs tutorial it was hard to differentiate between + and * ). Thanks.
I dont't get it - why do we need 2 first Bind Exp (hue and value)? I turned it On/Off - nothing changes. As I see - u dont use it in any part of scene (or is it me - blind:))?
@@MBSJQ hey bro, check this tutorial by the great Rohan! it helped me to understand particle render when i was starting. you need to be sure the Cd attribute is a point attribute and then on the rs_material you need to put a Point attribute node, get the Cd, and connect it to the color from material. vimeo.com/182543771
@@RetaliationSnipez I meshed the particles , u still have to use high particles but you get rid of those tiny holes between particles watch the very end of this video : th-cam.com/video/DWxcfZMsZW8/w-d-xo.html also used a smooth node to smoothen out the geo
it is possible trust me xD I dont have a huge pc, i7 with 64gb ram and a 1070ti gpu. Not overpower pc as you can see, the trick is done with filecaches haha
Doxia Studio I only have 32gb of ram unfortunately, I’ve been doing the liquid sims on my masters project and it’s been difficult on my pc so was wondering if this would be doable
@@DoxiaStudio hello again, so I am actually a bit stuck with how to render this piece out. I wanted to use it as like a moving texture into maya using the colours from the image, would you be able to give me any advice on this? thanks in advance

good question. if you just want to render it as smoke, maybe you could convert the particles into fog vdb.
Thanks a lot! Really easy to follow!
Fantastic tutorial, man! Thank you so much!
Your video has been very helpful to me.I wonder if it can be rendered without the plugin redshif
you can. I'm just used to redshift coming from cinema4d. But the new karma render is really good. give it a try!
awesome tutorial. can you also make the points bleed color to their neighbors over time?
yes! you can use the blur node, or set it with vex. like an infectious simulation :)
It is possible to export this points for example to 3ds Max and render with Octane render?

thank you for your feedback! I will change the UI scale on the next one!
Great tuts!
Thanks :D

Need some help. How do I render this sim with Redshift? Thanks :)
Well I found the way to render the particles using Redshift. :)
@@InfraredVisuals Sorry I didnt see the comment in time. If you still need any help let me know :)
@@InfraredVisuals What was the solution please
@@MBSJQ Plug in the "ParticleAttributeLookup" in the diffuse color of RS mat. That's it :)
Bitupan Dowerah thank you so much I did that but then I just get white particles showing in the render window, any ideas ? Thanks 😊
Dude any idea's of how to render this with Redshift?
this is render with redshift ;) render the points as particles. dont convert the fluid to mesh.
Doxia Studio ok thank you will try that. I followed exact tutorial but when open redshift inside Houdini nothing was showing lol (obvs a newbie) haha
Doxia Studio sorry dude still struggling have found the render as particles but not it just comes up as white particles and not with the image?

great! thanx
Use a dop io at the end for better results! and for higher res
thanks for the input :)
can you elaborate on this?
