    It's so sad to see this girl call her 'dad' dad who was the one who murdered her mum but yet she won't call her mum but by her first name. That's just disrespectful. I don't care if your mother died you don't ever say I don't see her as a mum so I don't call her mum.

    • @phiretiger4476
      @phiretiger4476 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Probably a coping mechanism. If she identifies Lucy her mother she would have to accept how she was born. She says that her father saved her when in fact he did not. How would see even know this when she was a child? Someone had to tell her this and or she made this up in her mind. She really needs some therapy and begin self healing. Unfortunately we don't pick our parents. She was a blessing put into a cursed situation. Just because you are a product of rape doesn't mean you are unloved, unwanted, and less than. We don't pick how we come into this world. I personally do feel like by referring to her mom by her first name is disrespectful especially when she was a victim. However, as a clinician I know that she is truly in the denial stage in the process of change. Yes, she is doing the research and is aware of the situation. She can talk about it but deep down inside she is numb. However, she hasn't processed it at all. How can any person wrap their mind around the fact that my mom was a victim of abuse..sex trafficked...I'm a product of my parents toxic relationship. My mom and other family is dead due to my father killing them. Her mother is gone and she will never have a relationship with her at all. This is definitely grief and loss. However, maybe she feels that she can obtain something or some kind of relationship with her father because he is alive despite him being a murderer and a rapist.

      Burning dynamo 86 this is exactly what I thought from the very beginning!! Why was a 13 year old and a man ten years older allowed to happen?! He lived in the family home with them. I’ll be honest I found myself getting a bit exacerbated by it even being a question of whether or not he was a paedophile in the documentary. The age difference was all the proof you needed on that front.

      MO KHAN I don’t think you can ever blame another person for paedophilia but the perpetrator themselves. Nor can you blame any other person for murdering three individual family members other than the person that committed the crime.
      Lucy’s Dad is clearly a good person but of course as parents (Lucy’s) it raises the question of safeguarding a child. Of course the public will be curious as to why this relationship was not only allowed to continue but the man himself living under the same roof, to add Lucy in the fathers words was said to have screamed rape whilst this man in question ran from the house, this taking place before the tragic fire but was still given access to the house thereafter, there’s a lot not being said or discussed in this documentary leaving holes in the story.

    I don't understand why she doesn't call her mum. Why does she not see her as her mum? Lots of people's parents die, but if those parents were there for you and loved you for no matter how long, that still makes them your parent. If you were neglected by that parent that's a different situation. I just don't get it in this case. The girl who was murdered she can't call mum, but the guy who raped and murdered her she can call dad? That feels so wrong and manipulated. It's not right imo.

How can you allow your 14 year old daughter to be involved in something like that? Shit parenting has deep consequences

    ????? He didn't save your life he just chose not to murder you too. My """dad""" murdered my mother and committed suicide when i was a child and I think its disgusting that your dad gets the respect of being called Dad and she was murdered BY HIM and she gets called "Lucy" most of the documentary. After all she went through. How does it not infuriate you that he stole her from you? For literally no reason. ON PURPOSE. He stole the opportunity for you to grow up with her and for her to be at your graduation or your wedding or just there to call when you need someone, and he stole the entirety of your mom's life. I hope your "Dad" rots in hell with mine. I'm sure he saved him a seat. Lucy deserves better in her needless death

    • @Strawberry-ii4le

      Most of these cases occur due to neglectful parents. I don’t know how you can not be aware of your child’s activity when they’re living under your roof. Child groomers know who to target.

      Understand that Islam is not just Asians and their culture and that breaking the law of the land that you are on is not allowed in Islam as well as murder. What this man did is disgusting but it's a Pakistani problem and the fact that you can't seem to grasp the fact that this problem is not Islamic but cultural shows how idiotic you are. It's 2019 and you see crimes committed by Asian men and generalise it to all 2 billions of us (INCLUDING SOME ENGLISH MEN BECAUSE THERE ARE ENGLISH MUSLIMS) who come from all corners of the globe with different cultures and social norms. Stupid.

    • @NM-ur8yi

      @@Strawberry-ii4le When I said it's a Pakistani problem I was talking about paedophilia was a stereotype Pakistani (and South Asian men) people have to face not all of us. It's tiring to constantly see people associating Asian/Arab culture,problems,stereotypes onto all of us. Don't tell me about "tarnishing everyone with the same brush" when that's exactly what i'm fighting against. As horrible stereotypes are, Pakistani stereotypes have nothing to do with me so it's not my problem, it's a Pakistani problem.

      Okay so there's no white men who treat women like shit, beat them horribly and even kill the wife. White people need to get over this Muslims are this and that. We never see a story and say oh typical white man. Get over yourself, if you have not read the Quran and understand it completely then don't talk about Islam as a whole. Talk about the CHRISTIAN priests who molested boys in the church for a very long time, but no that's not Christianity's problem they had mental issues. Lol wow. As humans we need to understand a person who does a crime does it on there own accord not because of the whole religion. Pathetic comment.

      @MO-nx3qs 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Such a nonsense, the Islam law commands to protect and care for women in Islam, but the people who call themselves Muslims disobey them. So the religion itself isn‘t the problem but the people who misinterpret it oe don‘t want to care what it really commands
