    Exactly what I was looking for! I really liked the very, very detailed comparison, honesty and many references to real world situations. Thank you!

    And I really appreciate the fact that you presented how things are for the rear passangers. I care about my family and comfort for them is really important

    Subscribed. No joke, the Mazda3 center armrest and [driver] seating position is for real. I don't believe that your viewers (who have not driven both) understand the difference between the natural comfort of the 3 seating position vs. the 6. Maybe a new idea for a video? After driving many new Mazdas, like yourself, I find the new 3 to be in a class of its own.

    Nice comparison! Very informative! I can't decide between the Mazda 6 or CX-5. To me the CX-5 is one of the only SUVs that doesn't look ugly or like a mom car! I think I may go with CX-5 after being in a sedan and wanting to now sit higher :) can't go wrong with either tho

      Also the red Mazda uses on that CX-5 is just gorgeous. Not really a fan of red normally

      @@patrickk912 That is for sure! Hands down it is the prettiest automobile red out right now. Maybe I am a little biased but I could actually see owning this color versus other manufacturers red.

      I am in the same boat as you. I currently drive. 2011 Mazda 3 but now I have two kids. Can’t decide between Mazda 6 or Mazda CX-5. Which one is faster in touring trim? Which one has more room for car seats. That’s what I am trying to fingers out.

    • @PCMazdaReviews
      @PCMazdaReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@Raptors0524 They will run the same engine between trim levels so it will come down to weight at that point for speed. Meaning the Mazda 6 will push ahead just by a bit. Now for child seats in the back I actually recommend going to a local dealer with our seats and trying them out. There are so many different sizes of child seats it's really hard for me to just be able to tell you which car will fit yours best because the front seats both sit differently and are shaped differently.

      Thank you for the comparison and your replay. I will have to go to the dealer and see how things are. I guess got car seats it just depends who has more leg room. In my Mazda 3 it’s so tight

    Hi! I know this video was uploaded long time ago, but it is very good, congrats! I have a question for you... I'm currently between Mazda 6 2.5 turbo and mazda cx5 2.5 turbo... I usually drive alone (with my girlfriend but like half all the time alone because I don't live with her), and I do like the more "sporty" feeling in cars (so some friends told me to go for the mazda 6), but here in Chile the streets are pretty bad most of the time and I also have my parking place in a -2 floor in the apartment building which has steep climbs (so other friends told me to go for the cx5)... do you think the Mazda 6 has the sufficient height and suspension to support those holes and steep climbs or do you think the cx5 has the sufficient "sportiveness" to be selected in order to take advantage of the ground clearance and go for it instead of the 6?
    Thanks a lot in advance for your advice!

      @@noahark4670 yeah man, finally went for the CX30 because I’m single, tried both with my girlfriend and the CX5 was too much for us. At any case, I recommend you the CX5 or CX30, the advantages of the SUVs / crossovers are too many now, unfortunately the good days of the sedans are past gone. You won’t regret it!

    Great video! I'm between cx5 and the mazda6. Which would you suggest? Also how many miles can you get before empty on gas?

    • @PCMazdaReviews
      @PCMazdaReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I presently own a Grand Touring Reserve Mazda6. That’s the way I would personally lean, really it comes down to do you want the extra headroom? Do you want it to tow? In my Mazda6 I get about 350-360 miles before I totally run out of gas. The CX-5 is similar, I feel like I get about 330-340 in it before being totally empty.

    • @renobel
      @renobel 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@PCMazdaReviews thank you so much! I would prefer the extra headroom since I wear a lot of buns for work, which definitely hits the roof of my my little honda civic now. It really strains my neck.

    Goes to show seat angle or height affects it a fair bit, as your video comparing to the Mazda 3, your knees had ample room when behind the drivers seat, all the way back.... This one they are touching and you don't have enough room.

      @@PCMazdaReviews I'm looking for higher trim levels and mostly I will be driving alone.

    • @PCMazdaReviews
      @PCMazdaReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you are looking at the higher trim levels between the two of them I would say go for the Mazda6. I love the turbo engine in it. You also get additional features like the cooled seats that are not available in any trim level in the Mazda3. If you were looking at the lower trims though I would say go for the Mazda3 in your situation. The remodeled 3 looks fantastic, drives fantastic and is silent on the inside compared to other small sedans. The potential to pick up the turbo engine and the cooled seats pushes the higher trim level 6 over the higher level 3 for me though.
