Can you mirror the small touch screen on a 2nd touch screen monitor as well as output to a projector? I think I will quickly get fed up of bending down to change target line every two minutes!
Can I add multiple clubs of the same loft, e.g., I want to compare 3 sets of irons and want to compare the 7 irons across them…can I input the 3 separate 7 irons so I can compare them side by side?
When I go to Garmin's list of 43,000 golf clubs, it says contour and update. First of all, what does that mean? How can we be sure that this one is playable at home using the Garmin R-50?
As I'm currently well endowed with a lauch monitor and have reached the point where I hate hitting balls and only play golf courses, I'm wondering if the 43,000 stipulated courses at St-Georges de Beauce and Beauceville in Quebec Canada are part of the inventory. This is the only condition that will allow me to acquire the Garmin R-50 Thank You for the answer Alain Jacob
Thank you for your question. Club de Golf St-Georges and Club de Golf Beauceville are included. You can also check for additional courses by clicking on the following link. www.garmin.com/golf-courses/?a2=US&state=&new=false&upd=false&cnt=false&q=&addr=
A question, as I understand it you need a sticker on the club to get club data? But do you really need that? What do you get and not if you skip it? I have a r10 and don’t use a sticker and still get some club data. I understand if you get batter data like with a RCT ball.
Thanks for your question! You wont get club metrics without the stickers on the Approach R50 as it is a camera based system compared to the radar based system of the Approach R10. That is why the R10 doesn't require stickers, but is also why the use of RCT balls is encouraged with it.
If the name of my golf club is in the Home Tee Hero list, I can automatically play my course at home. I want to be sure before I pay 7762 $ Canadian taxes included. Thank you for taking the time to reply
So no one clicks on e6 or any of fhe third party apps probably Garmin requested this as fbey are not compatible with fhe device and you need extra hardware pc etc . This is a deakbreaker
Don't think like the r10 it reads spin accurately at all. 3 hyb with 18186 that went 141 yards. Sorry but that alone I call junk ball reading. This also explains the fact no tablet can run the Garmin app now as they have done this misreading overpriced launch monitor.
Good eye on the spin rate. At 1:24 in the video you can see this is marked as a bad shot. The ball was hit poorly resulting in a higher than normal spin rate. Later in the video when a good shot was used there was a normal spin rate.
@@GarminRetailTraining Does the R50 distinguish between balls? Meaning a range ball will/should have different matrix data than a ProV1 and Callaway Chrome Tour, TP5, etc. Ball fitting or choosing the right fit, etc. Also are we chalking the 18k spin poor hit or mis-read? Thank you for your help and transparency.
All of the 3rd party software requires an iPad or PC, total dealbreaker. Renders the built in screen (which probably doubles the price of the unit) totally useless.
Will the improved Home Tee Hero be coming to the R10?

How do you set the lofts for each club on the garmin??? Thanks
No averages for data or dispersion circles for practice sessions?
Thank you for your question. We do show averages for data, but we don't show dispersion circles.
In range mode, can you have multiple users or is it just limited to one "bag"?
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can switch users during a range session.

Are you able to offset the center line for narrow sim screens where you can’t hit on the center line?

What is the resolution for the HDMI output? Is it adjustable (for different aspect ratios? 4:3, 16:9 etc.?
Do I need a gaming computer to play GS Pro or EConnect or will the built in computer allow me to play those courses. I have a subscription to both.
Thank you for your question. Yes, a dedicated computer is required to run 3rd party software.
See what Garmin said as well as Gabe in his review
Is the Garmin R50 data able to be entered into the Arccos app?

@@GarminRetailTraining Can you explain what they mean with contour near the name of the club
Does it adjust or have a setting for range balls?
Thank you for your question. No, we do not adjust the ball flight based on ball type.

Look at all those adjustable options!
Does it have a setting to move the tee box when you have an offset hitting area on simulator screen ?
Thank you for your question. No, it does not.
Does it have putting on all courses as the greens where not all available on r10
Also is it the same technology as gc3
Thank you for your question. Yes, putting is available on all courses.

Can righties and lefties play at the same time?
they can you just need to move the device like other LM on the market
Does it come with knee pads?
Not for me. Give me blue tooth to a lap top or tablet.
where is the projector?
The unit has an HDMI out to connect to an external projector or monitor/TV.

The only 3rd party integration working as of now is Awesome Golf. I think that GSPro and E6 are coming soon.
