This movie was very relatable to me especially the part where dhanush struggled to carry his paralyzed dad who fell from bed because they were not in talking terms..it happened between me and my dad.I wasnt talking to him that time and he was paralyzed and fell from his bed. my mum wasnt at home that time..i was perplexed for few seconds but not as long as dhanush.I ran and carried my dad to his bed and he said thanks.It was a very awkward and painful moment.That scene was very touching and relatable to me..
It was a predictable story but it was never over the top. It was such a breeze to watch this film. After so long such a simple, sweet and real film in Tamil. Also the frames were so beautiful ❤️
Movie is really good..... Nitya Menon underrated performance...need more of her in movies..... Dhanush and Anirudh combination is magical... Gave few vibes of VIP especially when she says he needs to change his bike was relating with the VIP bike dialogue
I love that Dhanush brings in some small subtle elements of VIP 1. I loved that movie and want to see some of the charm of it ongoing in various ways forever.
Am I the only one who thought Pazham and Shobhana staying friends would have been wonderful? Very rarely do we have such great man-woman friendships on screen in tamil / Indian cinema.
I know right! I was searching for someone with a mutual thought. The movie was refreshing and enjoyable until the climax. The moment I realized this was going down the love track, I was like, "O not again! not them". They shouldn't have ruined that bond with a cliche.
I'm really glad Baddy liked this. I loved this and our tastes are somewhat similar and I didn't want the streak to break. Even though the outcome was a bit predictable, I was genuinely excited to see it play through. There was a small voice in my head saying don't be tense, they'll end up together, the major part was anxious will they or won't they. Mithran Jawahar did not disappoint 💜
Loved this movie. We get a feel of being part of their life. Simple set up, simple story. The artists make it look so real and genuine. Everyone were fantastic,even Munishkanth in small appearance. Bharathiraja sir was brilliant.

A genuine feel good movie. Dhanush and Nithya Menon give a thorough performance. Bharathirajah and Prakash Raj do their part. Anirudh is phenomenal though the tunes felt heard before vibes. Excellent light-hearted entertainment.

It was the "low-key" treatment !! ❤️ I think we as audiences are quite fed up with the always heavy content loaded onto us ! This was a change ! That has also worked big time :)But why can't we leave them at that ? or atleast not bring in d "already in love" factor ! That kind of dampened the spirit they had created!

Even though Dhanush is a fantastic actor and plays protagonist of this movie, still somehow Nithya Menen makes more impact than him. I can't name any other actress who completely over shadowed him. I wish to see her more in these type of roles.

I’m amazed that people are giving rave reviews for this movie. I felt like I’ve watched 100 movies with this same story before. Especially 90% of them being pretty much the template for English Rom-Coms. I didn’t enjoy it much.
@@vital1000 Yh you might be right. I actually enjoyed “ante sundaraniki” way more than this one. That is what I would call a refreshing new attempt. This story was pretty predictable apart from the scenes where Dhanush gets put down by the other 2 heroines. But after that it was pretty obvious where the story was going. Maybe the screenplay saved the movie. But the story was pretty meh to me.

I'd seen your Dobaara episode. You narrated the whole movie and with no comments either about the actors or the othe other technical contribution.
