This is, without a doubt, the best band I’ve heard in 30 years!! They’re so significantly more than simply being loud and obnoxious! This is stunningly great “music” with great “lyrics” played by incredibly talented musicians! Ever hear some of these rock bands play acoustic versions? They sound horrible! Not Blackberry!! Shoot - I’m 65 years old and they pumped energy back into me! Better than Medicare! 😂
Re-listening. Just noticed the backdrop is from the "Holding All the Roses" album. Google brings this up: "The song Who Invented the Wheel was written by Craig Wiseman, Anthony Smith and Bobby Terry and was first released by Anthony Smith in 2002." So it's a cover. I Love almost everything Blackberry Smoke has ever done- Except this song. And this is the only BBS song I've ever heard on the radio. Weird !
This is one of my favorite songs from BBS. Went to the concert inTempe AZ in 2018 they are perfect live and a must see.
