I needed this video… Hit me like a tidal wave- I have totally allowed my insecurities to cripple many aspects of my life. Which then makes me incredibly ashamed, which leads to hiding or keeping quiet about all the ways my life is falling apart because of my insecurities ruling me. Then I feel unbelievably isolated and I rarely read The Word because I’m either going to cheap entertainment to give me a dopamine hit or believing the lie that I’m “not gonna get anything from it because I’m too miserable”. This video sort of jolted me out of my own head and reminded me that The Word of God does not return void- a repentant and humble heart will always glean something from Scripture. “So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what pleases Me, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 LSB
maaaan this is so good.I've been realizing this about myself.This sunday at church i actually volunteered to share my testimony and im not comfortable with that.I usually am quiet and would not like to speak at all but in church its kinda dead and they need encouragement from the younger generation.I realize that i let fear take hold of me and i wasnt able to be efficient for God but this sunday I know what I must do.I need to be brave and share all my sins and how God saved a wretched sinner like me.Please pray that I say what I need to say to encourage my church.

But I had friends that were girls I was selfish to because of my lust for love and I looked at love all wrong and I'm realizing it now. So I'm willing to make a change for how I see women as well as how to have a biblical relationship for the future.
Finally started going to a gym last week, trying to go at least 3 times a week if not more. Already feeling more confident, at least physically. Now I just need to work on reading my Bible (I’ve regressed back to only hearing it on Sundays). That’s step two. And quitting porn is one of the hardest things, harder than quitting weed and cigarettes/vapes was, but I’m slowly learning that I need to trust Jesus and nail it to the cross.

It is literally this in this order: Chris Hallbeck's post called "COINCIDENCE" about a MIND READING CHARACTER. Then immediately after, is THIS VIDEO'S thumbnail saying "this is why". And then the first comment that shows up is "comment for algorithm" with 54 likes. Dude. Come on. Either the algorithm is either way beyond our comprehension at this point. Or this is God reaching me for something You can't deny something is up here.

I wouldn't say it's as much lust driven as it is loneliness driven, the best verse to describe it would be when Paul said that "it's better to marry than to burn with passion", and brother, it feels like I'm burning. I don't want to make hasty decisions, as those lead to mistakes, but this is a battle I have been losing! The only way I've really been able to escape it, without thinking about it, is when I'm on mission trips, but I can't do those 24/7! Do you have any advice?, I'd love to hear man.
I will pray for you . But delete anything thats causing you to stumble , tell a trustworthy person to keep you accountable especially those who overcame sexual immorality, and engage in midnight prayers 🙏

Over time your religion became less about God and more about Jesus (a human man), then more about living people who you thought could "buy" you salvation more than anything else.
