Thank you for your good comments. I position the mic just off the face, so that I can use use a mask in Adobe Premiere to crop it out. It's a cleaner presentation without the mic in the picture.
Thanks for the walkthrough demo. In my view it still requires some technical support. I was looking forward to learning more about setting up the studio using a cellphone. Would you provide a link for the padding or where to get the materials you used for better sound quality?
Thank you for your question. We will make a video about acoustical treatment and using a simplified setup using smart phone as a camera. Will work to publish next week. Appreciate the interest!
Can you PLEASE do a video for noobs on how to get multiple cell phones, used as cameras, and a microphone to record to a windows PC? I have been trying to find a YT video on this subject and though people talk about it, they never explain how to get it to actually work! What wires to use, the right software etc.
Oh, it's simpler than that. Actually capturing to SD cards inside every camera, then bringing all footage into Adobe Premiere and then selecting the cuts during the editing stage.
Thank you! Ive purchased the switcher and am getting it all set up now. I need a three camera setup for my tutorials and was having a lot of trouble with my old system
THANK YOU! I just used my new ATEM Mini Pro to make a tutorial and it worked GREAT! When I got to editing the video, what usually took me half a day, only took half an hour because all the cuts were already in place. I'm thrilled! Thank you so much for your help. Your video was easy to understand, and I was able to get the equipment I needed to run my multicam setup. If you want to see my results with it, here's the link to my latest video th-cam.com/video/sz4-Kge3Kf4/w-d-xo.html
Awesome
Excellent video.
Excellent sound quality.
Excellent lighting.
Is that mic out of frame or are you comping it out with a plate?

Helpful video! What software are you using for the multi camera capture?
