He played character actor and villain role in about 200 films. But he never got prominent leading roles, But Mac Mohan made a significant impact on Indian cinema through his memorable portrayals of various characters. He became a recognisable face in Bollywood and was often cast in roles of a henchman, sidekick, or villain.
His real name was brijmohan makijani, Mac worked in sindhi, punjabi,gujrati and marathi films with hindi films.
He worked with some of the biggest stars and directors in the industry.
One of his most iconic roles was that of Sambha, the right-hand man of the villain Gabbar Singh in the classic Bollywood film "Sholay" (1975). His dialogue "Arre o Sambha, kitne aadmi the?" (Hey, Sambha, how many men were there?) became famous and is still widely quoted by fans of the movie.
Some of his notable films include "Don," "Karz," "Shaan," "Satte Pe Satta," "Zanjeer," "Deewar," and "Pyaasa Sawan," among others.
Mac Mohan didn't receive mainstream awards or recognition for his roles, he left a significant impact on the film industry through his versatile and memorable performances as a character actor and villain.
His contribution to Bollywood's rich history is cherished by fans and film enthusiasts even after his passing.
