@joshellison85 they can't let go, I watched both wwf and wcw and ecw when it was around. Everytime Kevin and Eric say it it's cringe, Eric even named his pod after it, wwf got themselves together and Eric and the rest of them had no answer. It's like saying you nearly went out with the hot girl in school when really you thought about it and then it didn't happen.
This whole video is interesting. You don't need to clickbait the last ten seconds to get attention. Have a little more confidence in the content you're posting
That’s cool Nash didn’t have any issues with Punk. Punk does have that aura to him, that many people love but many also don’t lol. Just like a punk. Controversy and attitude, be thy name.
I don’t blame Vince , these guys were poison to the company with exception of Hogan . Nash is almost 7ft 300 lbs , it’s easy to Talk BS to people when you are foot taller and outweigh them by 100 pounds.
U hear that? “I got along with him…He could beat me in the middle of the ring I wouldn’t give a shit” man Punk was white hot at that time too n Hunter just didn’t think he had that look of a pro wrestler 😂 but the fans were going crazy, he was the only person to outsell stone cold, not even cena could do that…it should m t matter if u think he doesn’t have the build, if he’s white hot, u can book him a certain way, especially as the underdog, to get over…it’s not about who wins n loses, it’s about telling a specific story n getting a talent to where they need to be n u can achieve that when u lose but punk definitely deserved to beat triple h at that time and it didn’t make any sense for Hunter to come out of retirement for one match just beat n bury him just to go back into retirement. That’s how u know punk struck a nerve when said that Stephanie wears the pants n the company would be better if it wasn’t ran by them…I’m glad Hunter did eventually take over tho definitely made a lot of changes for the better going forward, Steph n Shane not even part of the company n punk is back n they’ve squashed the beef so at the end of the day…maybe that needed to happen for the better
I dont think it was the whole "look of a wrestler" thing that HHH has an issue with. Punk was just so much like Triple H back in the day, and two egos like that dont clash well. By this time, triple H toxicity and being a bad boy or goofball was in the past, but cm punk, being younger, was still in that mindset of "its all about me, fuk everyone else. Ill do what i want." Literally how Triple H and HBK were in their youth. Triple H didnt like it. Its why nowadays, they do get a long so well, because CM Punk finally had his growth and left his ego in the past and cares more about the business that he does about himself.
I know that many people will say "CM Punk should've won!" or "They stopped CM Punk's momentum!" or something along those lines that usually gets said for that 2011 period, fact of the matter is Punk ended up leaving WWE just 2-3 years down the line so he clearly wasn't the right choice long-term (neither was Daniel Bryan) and Cena was always the best choice right up until he got older and wanted to pivot to movies more. Punk had multiple chances to make himself bigger, he was simply never bigger than Cena or The Rock. He went to the UFC and drew far less money/PPV's than Brock Lesnar. He was WHC champion for 400+ days and still whined about it. He had many other feuds after the "Summer of Punk" run that simply didn't pan out or weren't as succesful without a compelling story (Vince against him, Super Cena being his rival) carrying him. And now that he's back in WWE, he got carried by Drew Mcintyre promo-wise in the entire year of 2024. Maybe he simply wasn't/isn't as good as some people like to think.
Dreadful take Let's contextualise things: Punk strike gold and hits the hottest promo EVER in WWE, mainstream media are talking about him, Fans from the attitude era are returning to WWE to check out the hype/current product, and then Punk strikes gold again and has a 5* match with Cena in MITB. Instead of building upon this, the WWE have him lose the title due to Kevin fucking Nash (who hasn't been seen in the WWE in over 20 years) interference in the main event of Summerslam. THEN they have Triple H COME OUT OF RETIREMENT to pin him clean at Night of champions. THEN they have Del Rio pin him clean in Hell in a Cell. To top off all of this, they do the retarded Twice in a lifetime Rock vs Cena Snoozefest which Punk should have been inserted into as a triple threat. Who would blame him for leaving?
Triple H couldn't get anywhere without having a manager or a stable. Chyna, DX, Corporation, Chyna again, DX again, Austin, Evolution, DX again. Then finally can be on his own in late 2007.
@@sleepinggorilla Seemed pretty reliable to me. He was injury free from 2006 - late 2010. Probably should've been the one to main even Mania 27 vs. Cena
The whole thing about punk that I don't like is he craves attention. It's like it's cool to be like bro but to try to put others down just to gain attention on yourself. Not a smart move. That's why he didn't get any respect from much people especially the people that already knew how he was
Should CM Punk have beaten Triple H? Let us know in the comments below!
In the words of Daniel Bryan, “Yes.”
Nope. It’d be a great shitty move
Punk should have gone over Hunter 💯
Punk is that good win or lose. Wwe fucked up the should have looked after punk and listen to him.
Good ol click bait for 10 seconds of story. Ya got me
The clickbait is strong with this one.
thank you for letting me know. i wont watch it.
"Don’t you get smart with me." 😂
clickbait warning
At least they are entertaining. I could listen to Scott and Kev for hours.
"We were this close to taking them out of business" He must want a cookie
This is what annoys me about him and Eric, they cling to believing they nearly did it, they think they were close to it but they didn't.
@garrymclaughlan6433 LOL no where near it, the WWE MACHINE is real

Scott Hall was so smart God bless him it ain't show friends that's right lol

and yet there video of HHH and Punk standing in a room talking about there dogs and laughing .... these two are full of !!!💩
Scott Hall was the goat lol
Never had a problem with him
Scott hall is the man rip
The dude who runs this channel acts genuine but he'll doanything for clicks!
This is old. They buried the hatchet

@@OscarASevilla name the egomaniac stuff cm punk used to do that resembles triple h of the past
It wasnt 95-5. More like 50-50. Maybe 55-45 hogan

Punk was really popular with the fans, but it’s pretty obvious he’s a major pain to work with. Not the guy you strap the rocket to.
