AND this is totally live, no orchestra, no re-takes, but perfect. I doubt she gets the accolades she deserves. Go the Dutch!!!!!

Leonardo Amuedo is a superb guitarist both as an accompanist but also as a soloist. Trijntje , of course also does a fine job with the song and a whole lot more mainly Baccarat songs on the double cd ( of which this is but one ) which is well worth buying. I bought it some years ago and play it regularly. If you like his accompanying style try the album Ao Som De Greice Ive with a great Brazilian singer (Ive ) - every song on the album is good.
Leo Amuedo is fantastic, the sound he gets from his guitar is mesmerizing. Trijntje sings like an angel. I know this is such a cliché but in her case it is true. her rendition of A House Is Not A Home sends chills up and down my spine. beautiful creatures. bless their hearts.

Eventhough the guitarist is a fine musician, his intro is a bit "misleading" for what actually was going to happen. This is a great rendition of one of the nicest songs ever written by Bacharach and she was outstanding with Ladies of Soul, those girls from Amsterdam. Just one wonderful recording!!!
I thought the intro was fabulous, left you wondering, expecting so much. I guess it doesn’t quote the song, but it’s a fantasy on it. Lovely. When she begins, he shifts. But I loved what he did. Totally.
