Really enjoyed listening to Mike. Being brought up in the north on England during that time, I was brought back to that simpler time. I’m always impressed by how both Paul and Mike have not lost their Liverpool roots. I’ve heard Paul mention his pride in living in a council house. During those times these homes created solid communities and family stability which we desperately need today.
Could have listened to Mike for another hour😊

He had come first into the school music store to sign autographs etc etc. Wow, there's Michael! Then I headed out of the Student Union by way of a side door and who was there alone? Michael. Hello then! We had a wonderful chat and after a few minutes some people recognized him and my moment alone soon became a swoon of others, one of which took a photo of him and I. Great memory. There is a book Mike McCartney published a few decades titled "The McCartneys". It is out of print now but you will occasionally see someone offering it for sale. It's a good book and has more pictures of Mike and Paul together along with more family photos. The pictures of them together through the years does show their resemblance but also shows how Paul has more features of his mother and Mike looks more like their father. There are some great stories in their and it gives you more perspective into their families. Their father's family has been musicians for generations and Mike talks about how their father encouraged their love of music. Mike also shared stories about their mother and is more open on the subject than Paul has been. If you get the chance, get it and enjoy their story from Mike's perspective than the usual responses Paul has given.

McGear was recorded and released in 1974, a full 7 years after Paul admitted, in March of 1967, of taking LSD. Paul was, however, nailed for possessing marijuana numerous times during the 70’s and it was likely this which resulted in all the press attention.

Arthur Pewtey Well, for one, I'm not under suspicion of being dead. Secondly, I'm not paranoid or a conspiracy theorist. I've seen the video evidence of the real Paul and faul. I've read enough to know that something happened. The two simply do not match. Only an idiot would close his mind to the possibility that Paul was replaced. Even if not killed, it's done all the time in the industry. Nobody would deny that the replacement is talented.
Now, run along, back to whatever playground you recently vacated. Your chums are calling.

Maybe one of you PID nuts should tell Mike that his brother died in 1966 and was replaced by an impersonator.... It'll probably come as an awful shock to him after all these years... But he'll be better off knowing "the truth", right? Or maybe you think that Mike was killed and replaced with an exact duplicate too. I guess they would have to do that to his entire family... and Jane Asher.... and all of his friends... and a big chunk of the music industry....
Because you can't just replace somebody with a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON and have NOBODY notice... That shit only works in MOVIES... Gilligan's Island... Fucking Scooby Doo. And even then, the imposter always get discovered in the end.
