I love the acoustic set. I know people knock it but until you hear inside that ball you will never understand. The sound is nothing like I have ever heard in a live setting.UNREAL! I mean seriously, this is recorded on a god damn phone.
@@TapeheadTooyou are allowed to bring in those recording devices? I wasn’t allowed to bring in my DSLR camera although the iPhone camera nowadays does great recordings

I definitely think this was one of those songs they for sure could have done the full sphere thing for. It sounds fine acoustic but never in my life would I have thought Edge would have turned the chorus into a banjo line
Oh I agree. That is the one thing with the Sphere, there is no hiding little things here and there. I do believe this was the first time they preformed this song at the Sphere. Sure wish I could have got this one.
The only thing that bugs me about U2, is that I listen to the studio albums over and over, they sound great, I'm used to the timing, then you see them live and the timing and cadence of the songs seems off.
I have seen the show, and my thought as I listen to this is that it is intended to be this mellowed out, part of their acoustic section. They do an acoustic section where they take a break from Achtung, so the fact that Bono is subdued in his voice here doesn’t bother me that much.

Yes, the acoustics are very good inside! But this was not recorded on a phone,... it was a separate audio rig with external mics.
Mine were recorded with my phone. No rig. Sound was the best I’ve heard of any band.
