Look at me I'm as helpless as a kitten up a tree And I feel like I'm clingin' to a cloud I can't understand I get misty, just holding your hand Walk my way And a thousand violins begin to play Or it might be the sound of your hello That music I hear I get misty whenever you're near Can't you see that you're leading me on? And it's just what I want you to do Don't you notice how hopelessly I'm lost? That's why I'm following you On my own When I wander through this wonderland alone Never knowing my right foot from my left My hat from my glove I'm too misty, and too much in love Too misty And too much Too much in love
Super ! 👍
Great question! This is influenced by the version that came after (the one of Jhonny Mathis maybe?). More information here th-cam.com/video/KJcoMdseTK4/w-d-xo.html And for that specific tune : secondhandsongs.com/work/46271/versions#nav-entity
***** Actually, you are wrong. The original, as done by the man who wrote it, has very much this feel, with brushes playing a gentle swing feel. Look up Errol Garner the original Misty.
I think its funny how people on jam tracks always feel the urge to critique the tracks, saying "oh why is that a b9 chord it should be *blank*. Or it's not the same feel as the original. IT'S JAZZ. Remember what that represents. The same tune has been played a thousand different ways. It is okay if it isn't the exact same as *BLANK* played it. Some songs switch between straight a swing. it's a matter of taste as @lukasalihein said. Especially with ballads. a lot of ballads are played straight anyways..... Even the Latin versions of giant steps is cool to me. That is the point. Evolution,...and the progression of music. Period. I dig it, keep up the tracks @Guitare improvisation.... what you do is cool and really has taught me a lot, simply through improvisation... which is what jazz is in its essence. Thanks for the tracks dude! keep it up! I need more tracks to jam over :p
For whatever reason, improvising over this song while using arpeggios finally made it click for me. Such a beautiful backing track thank you!

Wow. That’s beautiful

i've been practicing chord melody over this and it's been such a blast lol
let's see it then!
Thanks for the nice backing track. Makes learning this song a lot easier!
anyone find the slow and tonal playing to be much more fruitful than trying to blaze it all up? It's like stepping on clouds.
yes yes, I find this sort of style way nicer than fast bebop or so
I hear you, man! Hopefully one day I’ll be able to do either of them 😅😂
Certainly, a beautiful ballad. I personally enjoy this tempo whilst playing along with my tenor sax, it really is helpful.
Love that old song. Would love to have the chord chart of what he/she is vamping.
Great thanks❤
Sooo smooth!
thanks a lot!
Amazing! Can i use your backing track when i play piano in my channel, with reference link?
Sure ! If you write a link as you mentionned, and don't monetize the video :-)
I just posted a vocal cover using this track! Thank you so much!

Parlez-vous Anglais? Tried to buy your video but no can do - you need to fix that if you want to get paid
Did you ever get it?
the drums should be playing triplets, I think the original song is 6/8 or 12/8
***** matter of taste, really
***** Actually, you are wrong. The original, as done by the man who wrote it, has very much this feel, with brushes playing a gentle swing feel. Look up Errol Garner the original Misty.
tgbedini not really, I still hear that as triplets, or at least swing... the drums in this version play straight eights.
@@lukasalihein I agree
