Day 1 Trying to Get Photography Clients as An Introvert

- I have been watching all kinds of TH-cam tutorials, teaching me how to start a photography career but I never really did it. I wanted to make sure I get everything right before I start it but the reality is that we are never ready. So in this video, I tried to challenge myself and see how far I can go as an introvert. I will show you my thought process, and actually go out and talk to people. Hope you find it helpful!

I am Francis, a Product Design student in Los Angeles. I enjoy making my matcha at home and learning about filmmaking while doing dishes. Making TH-cam videos is like my passion project now so hopefully I can keep having fun and get enough sleep while attending art school lol.

I rollerblade downtown with like 40 + people every other Friday and take photos of architecture and people rollerblading with some portraits while skating as well.I take pictures of everything and I do video as well👍
You’re doing great! I’m also a college student who does photography. Many musicians need pictures so maybe reach out to them! I also recommend that when doing portraits, don’t do the countdown, or if you do, use it to your advantage. You can turn it into a funny moment by faking them out (or something along those lines) to get a great relaxed smile. It can also relax you too if you can laugh along. Great on you for stepping out of your comfort zone so much! I’m going to take a page out of your book and reach out to local businesses to get more clients myself! Thank you for instilling confidence in me, fellow introvert!

Wow seeing this was really inspiring. My introverted side is something that I’ve struggled with during my journey in trying to become a photographer. Sometimes I feel like maybe I’m not good enough or that I don’t have the right personality to be able to achieve my goals in photography. I’ve said no to clients because the thought of interacting with strangers scared me. I’ve slowly started to get better about it and am now trying to start my journey again. Thank you for this video.
