Here in Sao Paulo there was a mosquito infestation last year, it was the living hell. Suddenly a spider made its web on my bedroom... She managed to build a mosquito cemetery on that corner. Actually, I let her alone and is my roomate until this day. (NOTE: I know she is female because she already had a couple of hatchlings)
I was to my flat mate's girlfriend what your flat mate's girlfriend was to you. I was not trying to scare anyone, but I am very, very quiet walking around the house because I hate noise and noisy people. So much so that she always jumped scared all the time. She ended up gifting me a cat bell in a wristband. That was very sweet and very funny. The problem is that I adapted unconciously to move in a certain way to reduce the noise, so at the end, the cat bell was useless for its intended purpose. Very cute tho.
How does she have the audacity to complain about someone else minding their own business, in their own home the first time they are staying over? I can't even use someone else's bathroom without asking for permission xD
I don't necessarily ask for permission I just ask where it is because I might get lost :')
My last apartment was a 1,200 sq ft 1 bed, 2 bath. It had an on-suite master bath, and then a guest bath. I don't want guests walking through my bedroom to use the bathroom, so I liked it.

Spiders are a man’s best friend. Any time I see one In the house I just name them and let them do their thing. Free insect control.
Like with your roommate and the rice cooker, I had a roommate in college where we all go these free mugs from our college since it was our first year, and he loved his mug. He would put literally anything he was eating in there and "drink" it from there. The problem with this was that he never ever cleaned it, so looking into it was like looking into a toilet... it was so gross. Long story short, while it wasn't the main reason why I moved out, I did end up moving out midway through the year.

This comment is very late but im the same way with how naturally quiet and light on my feet I am. Except the difference is that im a big 6'2 guy and I give people heart attacks lol. I never do it on purpose I just don't make a lot of noise when I move around, even on leaves in the fall I don't make a lot of noise. My manager at my old job almost slapped me because I scared the shit out of her. She asked me to come to the back to help her move some stuff to the front of our store when I was done bagging for the customer. I finished right after she left so I walked behind her and she had no clue that I was there until when she got to the far back and I spoke up and asked "What do you need help with?" I also scared a lot of customers as well when I was out collecting carts because they wouldn't hear my footsteps as I approached. My friends mom let me in as she was leaving and he didn't even know I was in the house until I was basically right next to him after going to the kitchen then upstairs and walking over to him sitting on the couch

Spiders are bros. Old breweries used to never remove spider webs because the spiders controlled other pests.
Amen to that. Outside of relocating them, I'll never kill spiders. They are usually pretty smart as well. If I tear down one of their webs blocking my front door, they will move under the roof instead. Most of the time my house is bug free, though I've noticed a couple days ago I had a couple larva and an earwig show up.
Hopefully the spiders will start to take care of that, at least until winder comes.
@@ivenstorm I keep my recycle bin outside my house door and there's a spider who's perfectly formed his web to be above the recycle bin without touching it so it won't get torn up every time I take the bin to the street. That spider is probably getting some decent flies from the recycles if they have any food particles left on them.
If you're willing to live in the midwest, you can own a house for a decent price. 4bd 2 ba for about 1k per month.

We don't have big spiders here, so those tiny long leg spiders I try catching them and moving them to places that might get a critter or two. They're my lil friends.
Just moved in an apartment in Bowling Green. 3 bed, 2 full bathrooms. It's amazing, but the kitchen is tiny, and the laundry room is outside in its own room right off the back patio. It's real cheap though (Under 500 usd a month)

2:02 I used to have a 1 bed, 2 bath place. Well, 1.5 bath. Town home style with a bathroom next to the bedroom and the second half-bath connected to the living room. It meant you didn't have to go downstairs and walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom.
I'm usually on the other side of this story as in people tend to get jump scared by me. I don't do it on purpose, I just don't make a lot of noise naturally, since I'm sensitive to noise myself xD
