I do not consider benitez's move a betrayal. He has secured his legacy for what happened in Istanbul, he will always be a lfc legend and revered by fans.

@@thomaslythgoe7420 absolutely.... My view about Owen changed completely after he went over to the Mancs. I liked his Liverpool goals. There was that special cup final in 2001 I won't forget. But he was definitely one of the worst betrayals

The video is a good effort. Good job mate. I think as a Liverpool fan I don't entirely agree with all of them. Owen Yes Torres Yes Stirling Yes. Another interesting one that divides opinion was Steve Mcmanaman who went to Real Madrid and was successful there scoring in a champions league final. Liverpool wanted to sell the player but the player didn't want to leave. There was a spat between player and management because of this and then the player decided to leave on a Bosman upsetting a lot of fans. I grew up in the 90s admiring this guy and suddenly he did THAT. He did explain himself and a lot of people have respect for him for standing up and saying what he did but he still divides opinion....that was a betrayal you could have covered. Benitez who I was a huge fan didn't really feel like a betrayal. Managers have to move around and look for jobs....he was sacked by Liverpool and wanted to stay in the Premier league and do his best. Mascherano was 50/50 but we like him generally because he publicly came out and devoted his CL win to Liverpool after Barcelona beat Man United. The Coutinho one was also 50/50 but yes a good point because he tried to push for the move away and his career totally flopped after that. There was even a top fan called Sheehy who made a funny song about the whole thing. Anyhow I can talk about Liverpool since the early 90s with confidence.....If there is anything I can help with please send me a direct message.........
