I know it's not technically a Shoot the Chute ride but for all intents and purposes (other than counting credits) it basically is. My first time riding Escape from Pompeii ruined me for any normal scale Shoot the Chute (not counting things like Jurassic Park River Adventure.) I feel like Pompeii should be the standard for this type of attraction. I'd love to see Atlantica (as well as Journey to Atlantis) given a show building. I'm sure they'd be less detailed because the coaster portion would go by quickly. But they could probably do something fun with the turn tables. Maybe even enclose the lift hill with a show building.
I avoid water rides unless it's a hot day, and then, the only way to enjoy the day is to wear shorts and waterproof sandals (no socks and with good backing). It's never an issue then. I didn't like this much when I rode it years back, although I did get wetter than what is seen here, maybe they dialed it back? For me the thrill or lack thereof wasn't worth getting wet. OTOH, Perilous Plunge was worth every bit of getting drenched cause the drop was amazing especially when it only had lap bars. Nice pov though, you're getting better with the angles.
@@CanobieCoaster It's just not an exciting ride, just like storm coaster isn't in Sea World OZ. Basically, Mack water coasters suck, although I did really enjoy Orlando's Atlantis but that was about it. I haven't liked any of the others much. Perilous plunge had the best drop ever and actually had the best airtime of any water ride ever made. I can not wait to ride the clone in Oakwood Wales next year.
Europa looks like so much fun. Definitely on my bucket list of parks
It's an amazing park.
Neat ride.❤❤❤❤❤❤
It's a fun ride.
I rode that when it was 40 degrees the water was freezing only because I wanted the credit
Hope the credit was worth it!

It definitely feels like a shoot the chutes.

The front edge seats are the wettest spots by far. The splash usually isn't too bad in other rows. The dolphins can get you though in most seats.

So what would you rate this ride?
Review will be out later.
Definitely not a ride for a cold day!
Probably not the most ideal.
What would you rate Atlantica SuperSplash? Why?
