Pretty impressed with this box - some of the fountains in particular were really nice. Was looking to buy the Primed Alpha box but will also consider the Emperor if I can get a good price.
The fireworks inside Standard Emperor are fairly decent performers for a premium selection box of fireworks with some nice different colours for a change and not just the usual hum-drum red green and blue of other brand selection boxes. Only gripe I have is lack of a fountain mine or two and a decent wheel, that would've made it even better, but even so, even with all these I wouldn't be disappointed, and I'd be happy to set it off all the same.
Having looked at it again properly I'm even more impressed by it. The fountains are better than most single fountains available at proper retailers with some lovely effects, especially the fluttering gold/silver and Harcourt gold with hood colours, and the 9 shot cakes were brilliant. Shame about the jelly bean effect one misfiring and the candles were a bit weak. Better than the offerings from Prime, Evolution and Jonathan's that I've fired so probably the most premium box out now.
