Can you do new classic knives finishes on a case? Like, instead of having the case hardened you have the heat treated, instead of having the slaughter you have a dark water, instead of having a fade you have hmm, I guess the rainbow spoon, instead of a blue steel you have some other stuff (I guess something hot/orange/red, since the blue steel is supposed to be cooled steel), instead of having crimson web you can have emerald web, idk.
as a blacksmith it saddens me that the blue color is the most hyped, if u were to heat a blade to that blue color and let it cool. it would be so brittle it would shatter into hundreds of pieces if u stabbed it into a table xD
Case hardening is a material processing method that is used to increase the hardness of the outer surface of a metal. Case hardening results in a very thin layer of metal that is notably harder than the larger volume of metal underneath of the hardened layer.
I wonder if valve are going to continue with these ideas and release copy cats of other OG skins like doppler (ruby, black pearl, and sapphire) that way more skins drop and price and more players can obtain skins they enjoy. If they continue in this way lots of skins theoretically should crash a lot, but who knows with this CS market nothing really makes sense
Would be cool if they would rework some of the older skins into completely new finishes with the possibilities of the new engine. But don't think they would do anything with the Dopples, otherwise they wouldn't have changed them so drastically compared to the csgo version. Also to say the skins market would crash is a bit far fetched
@@Matt_YT_GamingIt’s better but less rare. RIP to whoever spent millions on a blue gem case hardened, and that one guy who refused to sell for 3 mil. If they add these as knife skins that is.
Kukri blue gem is crazy
i can feel that 1.5 million dropping
this should be in the game already bro, it could make the heat treat skins much more expensive..
it would be so funny if valve actually released these even if it would tank my inventory value lol

It's the Source 2 version of the Case Hardened, in the game files the skin is also called case_hardened 😅
